Hannibal? I did! Watch our "Best Red Dragon Adaptation" episode. We mention the red dragon season.

@@HackTheMovies I literally just watched that yesterday. Lmao. I completely forgot that you said that. I remember now that you mention it. I’m new to your channel and have watched so many of your videos for like the last 3 or days. Lmao.
Trisha's Italian is like a delicious rustic homemade italian dish, meanwhile Tony's is like a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli that's definitely gonna give you diarrhea later
What Hannibal got Mason to do to himself is one of the grossest things I've ever seen in a mainstream movie. Another excellent performance by the great Gary Oldman!
Pre-9/11 was like the Wild West when it came to what you could bring on planes, so it’s not implausible that he’d totally be feeding the remains of Ray Liotta to some Japanese kid on his flight.
FBI agents Trisha & Johanna are hunting down the Royal Rumble "Marry Me" guy who abducted Crystal. The only one who can help is Tony Lecter. But first they must talk about the movie Hannibal with him.
At the time this came out my friends and I had a joke where we'd change the lyrics of Limp Bizkit's Rollin' from "Move in, Move out" to "Bowels in or bowels out". Good times.
In regards to the CASU MARTZU maggot cheese, there is a legitimate reason they made this, not just to be gross. On small islands, like where it was invented, meat was often very hard to come by, other than fish. The maggots are essentially a protein supplement for dirt poor Sardinian peasants, while their lords were eating legs of mutton and roast pigs in the castello.
In the book (especially) but even in the movie, Barney picks up the dead pigeon because it’s mate is hovering around it in traffic. Also, in the book it’s definitely stated that Hannibal killed the curator he’s trying to replace. And Tony’s right that there’s a pickpocket woman, but it’s her male accomplice that’s killed.
Tony, I love you, but I was surprised when you said "they got a guy called David Mamet" seeing how David Mamet is one of America's foremost playwrights.
5:06 Lmao I have the same hatred for just one actor since I was a little kid. I've never watched any of his movies and every time I see that he's in a movie I don't watch it. His name is Ben Stiller.
This is my preferred movie within the series! I love this move for the depth of the characters. The sense of danger is shown with compassion and affection from Dr Lecturer to Agent Starling. He never offers to hurt her, even when she betrays him. I love it.
I also love this movie. It's artistically different from the previous film and more in your face, but it's still creative and has an extremely fascinating story though. So yeah, I hardly ever have anything bad to say about it.
Yeah it would have been great to see an ACTUAL conversation about it. Not just surface-level retelling of the story plots from 3 idiots going on tangents every other second
43:32 States adopted no-fault divorce laws. Before no-fault divorce laws, a spouse had to prove marital infidelity before they could get a divorce. With no-fault divorce laws, either party can simply end the marriage. These laws were adopted in the 70s and 80s, which is why divorce rates skyrocketed at that time. The divorce rate has actually dropped somewhat. These laws also coincided with other laws that gave women more rights and an increase in female participation in the workforce.
Fun Fact: Anne Boleyn was rumored to have had 6 fingers on one hand just like Hannibal!¡! But it was probably just a rumor. Still interesting since you mentioned her on this particular episode...
Regarding Hannibal walking around in broad daylight: I mean, you **saw** what happened to those hitman brothers, right? Oh, wait... you think they were the **first** to try to come at him?! 🤨
I know this is incredibly pedantic and doesn't matter but it really bugs me: Guys, when it's a person, it's "hanged". Saying a person is hung means something *completely* different.
1:36:47 - That digital zoom is so cheesy. For being such a renowned director, Ridley Scott sure employs a lot of tacky camera effects and editing. The Hannibal series may have been toned down overall, but Mason slicing pieces of his face off was a lot more disturbing and graphic than it was in the movie.
I was supposed to see this with my dad at the cinema. But in Australia, the day before we went, they changed it to an R18+ rating from an MA15+, which means I just wasn't allowed in. So, I had to go and see Billy Elliot with my mum and sister 😂😭🙄
Bear was probably just feeling like Richard Grieco in Night at the Roxbury, he was just trying to avoid being sued. Like "oh God a human died on my watch" then Tony shows he was just playing dead, and he's "Thank God, Johanna would have gotten rid of me, I would have been thrown away by my family, thank you Tony for not dying (or pressing charges)!"
Trisha is hilarious in her deadpan delivery, lmao. Also, I don't know any Italian-Americans with such a connection to the motherland, lol. (I'm 1/4 myself.) But anyway, this is a great trio.
01:51:02 I remember reading the book straight through when I got it in high school. I honestly loved the ending of the book. I hated that they changed the ending for the movie. The book's ending is kinda corny, but it was really well done.
I thought this was pretty good. I was excited to see the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina as the mansion Gary Oldman's character lives in Hannibal.
Henry the 8th was put in a sealed lead coffin and was paraded through the streets but it blew up because he was riddled with sifalis and he's splattered all over the crowd
I personally love this film, but at least you and me have his hair style, I was inspired by the Silence of the Lambs Hannibal Lecter and Scene of a woman with Al Pacino's do in that film but as I got out of my 17th year my hair started receding and Hannibal Lecter's sort of slick back do ever since that year of 2010 and now dammit it's going even more but I still wear my hair slicked back, I don't know her name but her Italian accent is beautiful I'm falling in love with her 😅
Barney was going to pluck and eat the pigeon due to low income. He was just leaving it on the porch to allow the mate some grieving time. One of the reasons, in the book, he takes the job with the Verger family.
My grandparents also had silence of the lambs in there VHS display case And my parents and whole family liked and watched these movies also. My mom is scared of Anthony Hopkins to this day
The real statue is inside a museum at the same place in Firenze, so basically the replica and the original are in the same place, one for free and the other one, the real one, you have to pay to watch it
I love this film but it’s shot like an episode of csi or something, Man on fire has the same feel. I like that style but it might of thrown some folks off
Lmfao great episode but can we see who/what Jessica looks like and have her do a special episode with you guys Tony!!??? Good to see Johanna back as well!!!
42:21 I love the Italian film history and culture that Trisha brings to the show, and I love the sass that Johanna gives Tony! Maybe Trisha and Johanna should host the show?

Trisha brings such a positive energy to every episode she’s in, she’s a delightful cohost

Trisha NEEDS to be in all episodes. She brings the vibe up every time.

She's a treasure and a pleasure to watch each and every episode. Unlike....others.
Tony you're not alone, I watched Silence of the Lambs as a kid. My parents made it clear that movies are make believe and are entertainment.
This is my new favourite channel!!! You guys are having a blast and are hilarious
What Hannibal got Mason to do to himself is one of the grossest things I've ever seen in a mainstream movie.

Don't take drugs, kids...
Tony, you dropped this 👑

i would rather watch that movie than ANY hanibal movie ! ( i don't really like boring crime thrillers, i like action and comedy )
Once driving on the highway I saw this guy literally standing over a dead deer in the shoulder with his arms raised to the sky crying
At the time this came out my friends and I had a joke where we'd change the lyrics of Limp Bizkit's Rollin' from "Move in, Move out" to "Bowels in or bowels out". Good times.
I give this episode four F's. Fine, fun, and family friendly.
It’s great to see Johanna and Trisha
Giancarlo Giannini also plays a character based on this film’s producer. He plays a character named Enzo Dimartini in the Roman Coppola film, CQ

I think a movie about the Carthaginian general taking his war elephants across the Alps would have been a better movie.
I didn't know it was Gary Oldman till this review. I saw it in theaters and we were arguing if it was a puppet or an actual person.

I can't believe Trisha of Trishas Italy mispronuncified the classic Italian farewell of DiGiorno
Tony, I love you, but I was surprised when you said "they got a guy called David Mamet" seeing how David Mamet is one of America's foremost playwrights.

I feel you Tony. My parents let me watch pumpkin head with them when I was 7.
I watched this with my mom when I was about 4 or 5.....I'm sure it didn't have any long term affects on me. Thanks mom
My parents rented me hellraiser to watch with the babysitter! Lmao
This is my preferred movie within the series! I love this move for the depth of the characters. The sense of danger is shown with compassion and affection from Dr Lecturer to Agent Starling. He never offers to hurt her, even when she betrays him. I love it.
Jessica was on point with her editing humor again!😆
1:10 Tony needs to pay Kieeeern some Royalties for that line!
I need to find the nearest Wrestle Mania, so she'll know: "TRISHA MARRY ME!"
Yay! Trisha is back!
She's the best co-host!
Trish is gorgeous. I'd hold up a sign at Wrestlemania for her, but she wouldn't see it.
I like how Tony refers to one of Dario Argentos classics as "This Italian movie"
I mean, I watched Robocop all the time growing up. Nothing wrong with seeing Silence/Hannibal at a young age.
Perfect Italian on that buongiorno. I died when he said “mama mia”.
Tony looks like he'd be part of the FBI and go by the name Tony Marinara
He will recall his days playing stickball behind the Olive Garden (Horatio Sanz, SNL)

That's what it was!
No gold chain?
Johanna+Trisha is a great co-host team! Tony is, as always, the perfect eyecandy

Fun Fact: Anne Boleyn was rumored to have had 6 fingers on one hand just like Hannibal!¡! But it was probably just a rumor. Still interesting since you mentioned her on this particular episode...
3:15 I had that same paperback with that same terrible cover lol. I made my mom buy it for me at sams club. Unlocked memories! Lol
Questo è un altro episodio fantastico! Anche Trisha sa cantare così magnificamente! Forse fare una recensione di un film italiano? La vita e bella? 😊
Grazie!!! Magari !! È un film meraviglioso
Jessica, as someone with a BA in History who now works at Wal Mart, just thank you.
Favorite show on RUclips thanks hack the movies
I legit didn't know that gary oldman played Verger at the time, so pretty cool he was uncredited
01:56:00 Ohp, there's another one for the Clip Channel. XD
Report Johanna for book abuse, just bend the page wtf
Mason and the heir scenario are in the tv show, please watch immediately!
With all this Italian movie trivia you should review some of The Italian Giallo films!
We did one on patreon

So I grew up like Tony and I was so excited to see this as a kid, and read the book straight after
Jodie Foster’s no show was the death knell of this movie before it even started
I was supposed to see this with my dad at the cinema.
But in Australia, the day before we went, they changed it to an R18+ rating from an MA15+, which means I just wasn't allowed in.
So, I had to go and see Billy Elliot with my mum and sister 😂😭🙄
The musician Selena died from a shot to the shoulder
If it’s pre-recorded, why is it a “premier” as if it was done Live?
There's nothing indicating it's live, though.
That's a good question
“Just like old times” means that they’re back together again. It doesn’t mean they’ve been in that position before.
Can’t wait for the Red Dragon review
It already exists!
@@HackTheMovies Yeah I found it!
I love the original Hannibal Lectar/Anthony Hopkins trilogy. Hannibal is underrated.
I like Manhunter. Now that is a underrated hannibal lecter movie.

According to the Closed Captions, you are 'Pack the Movies'.
I watched Silence of the Lambs with my family when I was 8. I was born in 1983.
I didn’t like it when I saw it in the theater but it’s grown on me over the past 20 years. Not as good as Silence though.
Hey there twin lol
Hey Tony muy family not only watched Hannibal but many other R movies like child's play, nightmare on elm st etc.
I swear to God, when you played nurse getting her face eaten, and alcesezer add played right after.
Trisha is hilarious in her deadpan delivery, lmao. Also, I don't know any Italian-Americans with such a connection to the motherland, lol. (I'm 1/4 myself.) But anyway, this is a great trio.

Apparently Harris had in his contract that they HAD to follow (mostly) the story from the book, so they had to do a lot of stuff that's kind of silly.
I thought this was pretty good. I was excited to see the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina as the mansion Gary Oldman's character lives in Hannibal.
Hey! We love Crystal, she’s great! She got a sign at the Rimble! The Royal Rimble!

I’ve only seen the end of this movie. Didn’t realize that a lot of it was re-adapted for season 3 of the (excellent) TV show.
Just in case it isn't clear, Trisha and Tony are Italian and Johanna is engaged 😁
What about All the Money in the World? That was a really good recent Ridley Scott movie.
I always thought Holly Hunter would’ve been an incredible Clarice Starling, and should have been approached to take the role up in Hannibal (2001).
She did like a stand-in for Clarice in "Copycat", with Sigourney Weaver.
Yeah, she wouldn't even have had to fake the accent.
The real statue is inside a museum at the same place in Firenze, so basically the replica and the original are in the same place, one for free and the other one, the real one, you have to pay to watch it
Damn it Tony, it was from JUST SHOOT ME!, not WILL & GRACE that Ray Liotta said that.
My bad!
I love this film but it’s shot like an episode of csi or something, Man on fire has the same feel. I like that style but it might of thrown some folks off
Why the hell did Tony keep referring to Pazzi as “Patsy”? Is he a Patsy Cline fan? 🤔
Fact: Tony is adopted and his real name is dergesh.
The Habbibal TV show was great liked it better than the movies
Tony's Italian accent is exactly the same as Brad Pitt in inglorious basterds it's amazing
Or, you know, Julianne Moore in Hannibal.
