This video is very helpful. Been struggling to write my personal statement! I'm glad you said personal statements don't need all those fancy artistic-ness. I've been trying to make things vivid like all these writing centers keep telling me to do, but IT DOESN'T help bring my story out at all. It's just wasting my character count. Thank you for that advice. Love the outline questions!

I'm glad the video helped! That's a great question! Although you may not have one "AHA this is why I want to do dentistry moment", there must be something you could talk about through your experiences. Focus on those experiences, what you liked about them, and more importantly, what you learned through them.

I highly recommend reaching out to a dental student or an ASDA club on instagram. Most dental students are willing to help out! Again, sorry for not being able to help more.

This is such an effective way in teaching how to write a personal statement! Would of been a great biology teacher as well haha
