'In the Aftermath,' 'Holstein,' & 'Finklestein's Walk In The Rain' by epidemicsound.com, and 'Sprightly' is from iMovie. You've made it to the end. 👏🏼 Comment, "O is for 🐙" below. Хобби
One of my fav japanese youtuber called them bad as emergency ration cause they are so good you would just eat them as snacks and have none left for emergency xD
Haha! Yeah that would be bad
Sounds like me. My last words before starving to death would be "effing worth it"
I'd say in that case the emergency is hunger lol
I'm like that with American MREs lol
Emmy is chinese. But she lived in japan for quite sometimes.
I love when she smells something
And 👃🏾she talks 👃🏾like 👃🏾this👃🏾👃🏾
Agreed, so adorable and endearing!
Ahaha ur the beautiful lovely guy from the other videos comments
Hello I usually end my day by binging her videos😅 and if I’m ever early to a new video I try to always comment something nice
Reggie Jenkins bloody hell😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
That’s so spot on
Apparently Japan knows their shit when it comes to canned rations. Everything you've eaten out of a can has looked nice and palatable.
Well, when you live in the ring of fire, emergency food is important
You don’t need to say “shit” though.
@@julioayala9663 stop finding things yo complain about. It was a compliment
@@julioayala9663 why the fuck not?
@@TalonsRebellion Wow. Cussing in a family friendly channel..
I love your color scheme today (and how it matches the cans haha)
What 😯
@@danrichardson2936 Look at her shirt then at the cans. They match.
This is exactly what I was thinking! It had to be intentional...right?
I came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed! I wonder if it's pure coincidence or if she planned it that way haha! Love it!
Yeah you shouldn't be that rude, her top looks pretty. It doesn't look like a can.
Too good for “emergency rations.” You would save them only until a lazy day comes.
Yeah especially since they cost a good 10 dollars a can.
@@damien1781 I'm not American. To bad. Doesn't change the fact that this stuff is really expensive for what you're getting.
Am I the only one who had a Stroke reading Mykee Wattz's comment
@@damien1781 seriously what kind of nasty person raised you... this has nothing to do with america and no, most of us do not live below the poverty line we actually are a very privileged country thank you very much.
I don't care what country you live in....$10 for a tiny can of protein and rice...is RIDICULOUSLY HIGH! By the way....careful your idiocy is peaking out.🙄
My 8 year old grandson LOVES watching your “tasting shows” lol. He’s always asking me to watch them when I’m visiting a few times a week lol. His favorite is the bug tasting.
They should sell these here in the USA... Especially in California, there would definitely be a market for them.
I mean they do similar things and MREs
Not at $10 a can.
But if they could sell them for $1 or $2 per can, yes, a lot of people would buy them.
MREs are cheaper, bigger, and last longer. So, what would be a good substitute for these? Other than Tuna in a can. I think they started to sell ready to be heated rice. Not too sure about price or longevity, though.
No let Cali burn
@@osakarose5612 so you expect a business to absorb shipping costs? that's a quick way to go broke. Capitalism dictates a yearly increase in profit. How do you expect that to happen for the shipping company if they don't increase costs? How is the food place supposed to do that if it absorbs the increased profit to the shipping company? Capitalism dictates and you suck it up....
My last night in Japanese my supervisor wanted to treat me to dinner. He asked were I wanted to go. I said we could just get some Yoshinoya. He was like, oh no we should go somewhere nice, and we went to a nice sushi bar. It was nice but secretly I was like, I really wanted some gyudon.
That can popping made my cats go nuts!!
It's very forward thinking of the Japanese companies to develop such good tasting emergency food, considering that Japan is earthquake and tsunami prone. It would definitely help the recovering public a lot to have available nutritious AND good tasting food.
I agree
i wish we had cute canned rations in lousiana for hurricane season. instead we have cans of vienna sausages, potted meat, and beer.
Doodlebob108 lmao I'm born and raised here, couldn't agree more. I still have mre's from Katrina loolll
@@susannaprobst590 Lol.
Those mre's saved us and SOME of them weren't too, too bad. I don't know how you still manage to have any left after all these years. That's amazing. 😁
I hate potted meat and those sausages and crap like that. I did KINDA like the potted chicken... When I was REALLY Hungary. Lol.
At 10 bucks a can, and only a 2 year shelf life...I'll pass.
$10.00 per can?? Wow!!! There should've been GOLD in there!! I heard her give a price but I thought she got a couple of boxes worth. Lol. Shows you what I know. Lol. Thank you for replying. I appreciate so much.
"Looks like I'm eating rations for Lunch" Too many post-secondary students can relate. 😂😂😂
You've had so many sponsors lately! I'm glad your channel that brings me such joy is doing well financially.
i love how voice emmy's voice is. I find myself listening to her videos before going to sleep.
Yes it’s very voice haha
Achoo Nice me too. Glad I’m not the only one.
Achoo Nice what im doing rn lol
Emmy should do audiobooks
Every night lol
The bright colorful cans would be easy to find in an emergency...
I was thinking the same thing. Kinda brights up an apocalyptic grim situation. 🌈
Wearing my Eat The Ducky Moss shirt and watching Emmy....life is good!
I tried Yoshinoya in Asia and the Yoshinoya in the US. Let me warn you that the experience is simply not the same. The one I went to in the US was dirty and the food was more like Panda Express.
Sun Block agreed and same. Well the one I experienced wasn’t as bad, but just wasn’t the same quality as the one in Japan.
US yoshinoya is so freaking salty and just not the same at all, still better than panda though in my opinion.
Gross!!
Tv Announcement: the end of the world has happened! Prepare yourselves!!
Emmy: Yes!!! Ooh cant wait! ( starts getting out a tin opener)
*CANt wait
oh my god the stripes on her shirt match the cans LOL
I adore the way you thoroughly chew every bite. Thank you for the smiles. They are very much needed.
I love that the sponsors are always ones I’d be down for...It’s always stuff u can actually use💗 These rations look better than what I normally cook😂🤷🏼♀️
Emmy will prepare us all for the world to end 😂😂😂 we are going to boujie with our can ettiquette.
My happiest moment is when I get notifications from Emmy 😭❤️ I wish there’s new video everyday from you.
Love you Emmy!
fun fact: Yoshinoya has a game that was released for the PS2 in 2004
Lol what game
The. Game. Is. Called. "Yoshinoya."
It's available on Amazon. Get it?
@@CricketsBay why are u so curt lol it was just a question
what is it about though? too lazy to search for it
The color scheme of the cans and your matching shirt is so pretty!
Emmy when you mentioned that rice dish I almost cried it sounded so good!! I love rice bowls in general but something about Japanese beef Is something out of this universe. Almost melts in ur mouth. Omg I gotta stop. I'm salivating lol
I love all the new videos! I just have been re-introduced to your channel again (used to watch you in your poppin cookin days) and i just cannot get enough of your content! I have been binge watching every. Single. Video. Just love you!!❤
YAY!!! Welcome back! 🙌🏼
Omg thank you so much for responding to me! You just filled my heart ❤
Hey Emmy! Thank you so much for posting on my birthday. You are awesome.
I’ve never had so much fun watching someone else eat. Thanks, Emmy.
This lady pops up in my recommendations so first time watching. It's been a long time since i was like " wow, this is a very beautiful person " . Instant fan
Yes!!!!! Post apocalyptic vids are my favorite! Love you, Emmy! ❤️
I love these emergency rations videos, Emmy! It looks like this one was a total home run for you!! I would taste all of the options you tried, except the mackerel. I am NOT a fan of fishy tasting, oily or fatty fish. I absolutely love all kinds of sweet succulent shellfish and I'll occasionally get a bit of a hankering for a good deep-fried cod, grouper or haddock "a la fish fry basket" with some lovely crispy golden fries and lots of tartar sauce - but as far as salmon, trout, mackerel, dark tuna or any other "fishy" tasting fish, I just can't do it. Oddly enough, as a little kid, I used to love sardines, kippers/herring and lox as well as several smoked fish varieties, then at some point, I guess my palate changed and now that I'm older, those flavors are darned near repulsive to me. I do use anchovy paste in certain recipes but you'll never see me order a pizza or a caesar salad with whole anchovies as my hubby is very fond of doing. My cat adores mackerel though, so I suppose if there was ever an apocalyptic occurrence and we had that same variety of Yoshinoya canned food rations on hand, Henry would be as well-fed as we were! LOL
I'm just here to say that all the Apocalypse taste testing has suddenly become relevant. Amaze
Drunk watching Emmy.. Beautiful Saturday night! X
Emmy your jacket reminds me of Paddington Bear’s ❤️
And O is for 🐙!
The matching shirt makes the video even more satisfying lol Great job as always ❤️
“Let’s get this out onto a...”
Wait. Wrong channel.
nice.

I don't get it, will someone explain?

I love the fact that we're about the same age, I can grow old watching your videos, some of the best content on RUclips.
Oh wow! These are great. I love that you test out apocalypse food. :D
Love Paul! Great video Emmy!

I love your uploads. They’re alway so much fun!!
That shirt matching the cans is on point !!!
Nothin like eating breakfast (butter fried eggs and rosemary/olive oil toast) while watching Emmy eat rations.
Good for you for being so brave to always try everything. 👍🏼
I just ordered mine yesterday. I can't wait to try it!
I just love your videos and you always make everything look so delicious 😋
Thank you. 😊
You are so welcome sweetheart 😘
Why is Emmy a lil' sweetie?! She's always positive, funny and incredible at explaining the food she's eating. I'll never get tired of watching her videos, keep up the good work! 🙂
Whaaaaa, I love saba!! Classmates would complain about the smell when I'd have it for lunch, but ehh, I love the taste of the ocean. These cans look super nifty, even cooler than you can just have them straight out of the can without heat.
💟 Thank you Emmy, those all sound delicious to me, time for lunch! 😸
y'all know that when she opened that first can she became super skeptical. lol. but she pulled through and our emmy emerged victorious like always. 💪
Love you Emmy! ❤️
Emmy you're just so cute! I loved seeing your eyes light up as you said "mmm!" after tasting these, :D You made me want to try some emergency rations, and I never thought I'd say that lol
Can you please do another what I ate in a week video? I find those super intriguing for some reason! Your portion size always bewilders me.
I love your shows, it's cool what you share, neat... 😊
I really appreciate how the Japanese take so much care in presentation, even for something like an emergency ration in a tin can.
Cold from a can and Emmy loves it. Must be really good!
I love the texture of brown and wild rice.
Absolutely my FAVORITE person on you tube!
Yes - you make us feel that we are at home with you. ❤️
12:52 🐙✌At first glance, looks more like pet food.
Awesome as always 🤘🤙✌️
The colors. Japan... Making even the apocalypse cheerful.
Best time for uploading this, helps me sleep haha!!
I've only tried a few different Japanese ration type foods, and while they may not always taste as great as some other countries' rations, they have consistently been better for you (less salt/sugar, more health conscious) and just consistent in the quality.
Also, the whole concept of donburi is my favorite thing ever, and I'm especially fond of oyakodon or even just tamagodon. I love egg. 😆
How fabulous to have emergency rations that actually taste good! :)
Cutest taster of food ever love you Emmy I'd watch you eat anything.
That’s it! When the world ends I am going to Japan to ride it out and eat good. Emmy can come too.
They all looked and sounded delish!
These actually look really appetising, might get these for myself 👀
I watched this video a year ago. I live in Alabama. I promised myself that if I ever made it to Cali, I would eat at Yoshinoya. O finally made it here for a work trip. I ate there last week....... it did NOT disappoint!
All these looked delicious!
The cans perfectly matched the coloured stripes on your t shirt!!!
I would eat these canned rations with those other Japanese canned breads from her earlier video....yummmm
I have a yoshinoya near by here in Redlands southern California its been my favorite since I was a child.
Great video. Shout out to Paul from criticaleats. He is one of my favorite you tubers in Japan. Thanks.
I would try the chicken one because I am way too picky with textures and flavors. They all look pretty good. You did wonderful describing things like always. I was surprised the rice wasn't entirely mushy which is good to hear. Thanks for the awesome video Emmy. Have a wonderful day/night. :) Also that striped shirt I love the colors. I love wearing striped shirts that are long sleeve in the cold weather.
Oh wow, I didn't even realize they also had rice inside! They all looked really good
I think you should find a way to try Rio Mare Patè!! It’s a tuna paté from Italy, there’s different flavorings of it too. 🇮🇹 🇮🇹 🇮🇹 🇮🇹
I recently had my friends and my husband try some that I brought in from Italy and they told me they had never seen/tried anything similar in the US!!
Huh, interesting. We actually have Rio Mare in Hungary, so it's always interesting to see what other countries have and don't have in stores
Mldy96 i would eat it all the time in Italy, I now moved back to the US and I just have my mom bring me some every time she comes cause its sooo good and I can’t find it here!
It sounds interesting - thanks for the suggestion.🙌🏼
@@emmymade Hit up a Italian importer. Most of the Rio Mare line are for sale here in Canada.
That sounds good but have you ever had beans?
I really want the mackerel one, it looks so good!
These look quite tasty, and I prefer this setup over everything in one can.
Thanks Emmy! Very interesting stuff. I don't think I'd ever have the money for those sadly😔 But great to know anyhoo!🥫🍵🎃🤘🏼
When you opened them, I thought looked horrible, so it was by your descriptions alone that I am now craving them lol
I love your honesty
i like internet privacy. I LOVE your food videos. I trust both.
Hi Emmy hope you had a lovely day💖
The mackeral would absolutely be mine. I love fish. My husband is way into beef dishes. Wish we could try this! The rice looked delicious!
I finally found a website that selling these I'm so excited they're a bit pricey at $15 a can but at the same time I've also spent 80 something dollars on eBay just getting snacks from Japan that Emmy has tasted over the years
I totally want these available in the US. Hear, hear!
I’ve been craving yakatori! Now I know where to get it. I don’t have to drive over an hour away. Just order that baby on Amazon!💃🏻
Love Mackerel. We have it smoked in the U.K, great with salad in the summer or warm with brown bread and proper butter for a light meal. Love your vlogs, all the best xx
I just google it and I’ve got a Yoshinoya one mile from my house! I’m excited to try the real thing!
“0 is for the🐙below” lol I love yakiniku!.
Have you possibly considered doing a Q&A on this channel? I have SO MANY general questions I want to ask, mainly about MREs and rations. I would be so happy to see that
Each meal seems well prepared and thoughtfully presented. It would be nice to see vegtarian versions. Maybe allergy free options.
I used to work at a Yoshinoya and I just ate Yoshinoya today! If you are in California , definitely try them.
I’ve always wanted to eat at Yoshinoya in California this was very interesting
Shout out to Paul! I subscribe to his channel too and he really is one of the nicest people on Earth.
Where did you get your shirt emmy? i love it! it's so colorful and perfectly matches the cans
