Is it common for someone aged 33 with no ag background to enter into the silage industry? Also, what would you guys recommend in doing first to help my chances 😅.
Bit difficult that late in age but working with a contractor or just someone else in general is a good way to start, but you’re right for mentioning not having an ag background, it definitely helps to have some sort of background haha
@𝖩𝗈𝗌𝗁 Thats what i thought, i only have 4 years miltary xp and 10 years engineering. Im only doing allotment/market garden growing, never done commercial growing etc. Maybe 1 day ill find an opportunity 😃

@@familyof4exploreuk the engineering is good, some farms have onsite mechanics, that could definitely get you somewhere
