Actually I saw them live and he uses more variety of his screams live like most bands do and he doesn't really force his screams or inhale because thats a good way to hurt your vocals like when Kyo of Dir en Grey had to cancel some shows due to a vocal injury from a concert from going all out while on tour which cut the tour dates to a little more then half of what they planned.
it does :) theyre very sweet, blonde singer is my close friend :) I love this band because they treat very dearly their fans, altho i met the band thru their guitarrist so i wasnt a fan but now i quite am, they have good music and are very good respectful people!

Don't Believe I've Heard "In the Hurt" Yet? But Yeah Definitely have the Pv for "Loving & Vicious Key". My Favorite Tune by them is "Byakuya"; Which isn't Really Heavy Instrumentally but those Screams in the Chorus!!! Man, Radical. That's the First Tune I Heard by them. These Guys were Really Cool I mean How many bands do you know That had Two Lead Singer Compliment Eachother's Voice So Perfectly?! There Not my Fav But I LOVE What these Guys Did. Have Quite a few MV's by them!
From what I can tell, after seeing so many of their videos and listening to so much of their music, it seems as if Ryu is the only one who screams and growls. His vocal range is much wider than Keita's. Keita is the "soft" voice, Ryu is the "hard" voice.
@Jasppier It's not that HAYATO looks like Uruha, it's his outfit that looks like one of Uruha's. Doesn't matter though. The bands still awesome. I just thought I'd put that out there.

As a jrock and DEG fan since many years I dare say one of the vocalists resembles Kyo too much. I bet some of you noticed and I mean his style of singing in this song and the things he does. Is not bad, i personally love it...and i'm not comparing i just saw the resemblance.
If his screams are like mine, they sound the same, then theres no real danger of hurting the voice. I can scream like his high scream, it comes from the throat as I can do my scream even with my mouth closed and even with water in my mouth. I went to a doctor and he said theres no sign of any damage. You just have to take the correct method and tweek it to work for you and find new ways to do sounds.
Keita is in a band - Mix Speaker's inc but i've found only 1 song in which he participates, although I haven't found a band which I love more than MoNoLith ;3
Keita is in Mix Speaker's inc as Nika, but they are just about to disband. Ryu still does session bands occasionally, Hayato and Takafumi are support members in various groups and no one knows about Shuhei, he probably left the scece.
He kinda resembles older Kyo, but not much. That kind of growling/high pitch screaming is something a very few vk bands do since not many people have that vocal range probably so he may not be trying to be Kyo exactly, but in that style.
Yeah I read about that when it happened. Its not the same as how I do it with all the screaming I've been doing recording I haven't got a sore throat once. Hard to really explain I just can't control the pitch.

I can scream high too but I use my diaphram instead of my throat , but I feel awesome that I can scream as high and growl very low and freak anyone out by say gibberish
