    An invis hunter bodyshots with his sniper and cleans up with a sidearm. I dont see why that type of play would need a cheat device.

    • @CronusChronicles
      @CronusChronicles 3 года назад +2

      While Zen device is controversial right now, it is not cheating. Just another tech device that modifies a part of your experience, similar to how a Gaming monitor helps with refresh rates or how a gaming router can can input lag. My experience with Zen and a sniper is that nothing really changes except the screen shakes a bit. I havent felt a difference with the Aim assist option, but thats probably because destiny has high aim assist and high bullet magnetism already (ever been shot through a wall?)
      Side note, Ive never been great at sniper, no matter the game i play. lol

      Fitness and Games for me its clearly cheating if you dont have to control recoil but let a device do it for you. Plus rapid fire, strafe fire and all the other bullsh... Also i name mnk on console cheating, because that input method with the aim assists you get on console is just unfair against controller users.

      Whats funny is that the MnK users hate on people that use controller on PC for the same reasons you are discussing here. lol.

      pacinoall that was referred to me a while back. It mentions hardware devices but never specified which ones. They did qualify things though, by saying that anything that effects the game and gameplay files are considered offenses and will be banned. Those would be more accurately described as hacking, and zen does not do that.
      I think there is a mention in the code of conduct too, but again, it was specific. Just a boiler plate reference

    its modified hardware to run scripts, scripts that are designed to give you an unfair advantage like autofire even macros can be an breach of the code of conduct.

    • @CronusChronicles
      @CronusChronicles 3 года назад +2

      by this very definition, ANY gaming hardware that is designed to give you an "unfair advantage" qualifies as cheating and breach of contract. I discussed this in my most recent video. Example being Gaming monitor Versus a TV. If YOU have a gaming monitor and I do not, YOU have the advantage because of "improved graphics and frame rates," which is specifically mentioned as cheating in the same code of conduct you are referring to.
      Fact is, if bungie thought or felt that Zen was cheating, or more specifically hacking....they would call it out directly. The scripts do not have any effect on the games files or the games hardware. It does not effect or modify the controller itself either.
      Look man, I get it. It feels unfair if you dont have one too. I agree with this. It may even be borderline cheating in regard to the definition of "unfair advantage." But Zen is not hacking, which is what i believe most people are accusing this product of being. Its just another piece of tech.

    • @CronusChronicles
      @CronusChronicles 3 года назад +1

      I also want to say thank you! You have been incredibly respectful in your posts about a gaming product you clearly feel strongly about. I really do appreciate your honesty and respect.

    • @pacinoall
      @pacinoall 3 года назад +3

      @@CronusChronicles I agree that its not hacking, you are not injecting any code. But I definitely think it falls under the category of modified hardware. In regards to tv vs a gaming monitor its an advantage yes but not an unfair one in my opinion. Its just a higher quality product or a more suitable one for the task at hand. The graphics doesnt change , it may improve picture quality nor can it change the fps in game. The game is still running and playing as intended. Scripts are designed to break that and to trick the game and exploit game mechanics like aim assist and rapid fire and auto fire and so on. I dont work at or for Bungie nor can I with any degree of certainty say what bungie consider a breach of contract. We will just have to agree to disagree on this matter.
      I wish you well and good luck with your channel.

    • @CronusChronicles
      @CronusChronicles 3 года назад

      "modified hardware" would be if i took apart my Elite controller, or my Xbox, and changed it. Which is illegal by the TOS agreement of Microsoft and stated as a code of conduct violation by Bungie. Zen is just a controller attachment device, not a modification of hardware.
      I swear im not trying to be Super mister technical guy here. lol. I had debated this with a buddy of mine who is a developer for Blizzard. The long and the short of it.....they dont really like the Zen device or things like it because it takes away the skill development part of learning a new game. Or in his words, it makes you a lazy gamer since you dont have to work as hard to reduce recoil or learn recoil patterns. But no, it cant be considered cheating any more than the other devices i mentioned in my latest video could be considered cheating.

    • @CrustaceonsReef
      @CrustaceonsReef 3 года назад

      The problem is, this really isn’t “hardware”. It’s third party software performing a task automatically and then providing that game input for you. A controller, no matter how snazzy still requires you to make that input and only transcribed that exact input. Even though the ergonomics might be better than other controllers and provides an advantage to those who are capable of utilizing it, it’s not a guaranteed advantage. Something like this allows anyone to have an immediate advantage through use of its internal software that essentially “piggybacks” bungie’s.

    Code of Conduct or License Agreement Violation
    Bungie regards some behavior to be in breach of the Code of Conduct or the license agreement that governs Destiny, and therefore may be restricted or banned from some or all Destiny content or activities.
    This behavior includes, but is not limited to:
    Connecting to the Destiny game service with any of the following:
    Modified game software
    Modified game assets
    Modified hardware
    Modified console firmware
    Modified operating system files including emulators and virtual machines
    Using an external program to modify or analyze the operation of the Destiny game software, such as:
    Trainers, mods, cheats, aimbots, or autofire.
    User mode or kernel debuggers
    Graphics hacks

    • @CronusChronicles

    All these people buying these things don’t know the main reason they’re bad. It’s definitely not because of this being a thing. Unfortunately for most players, even with more artificial aim assist they won’t get better. Map awareness and breaking predictable habits are some of the more basic, but most effective ways of staying alive in a match. Your aim might be better, but you’re still going to get clowned on. No offense to the content creator, but that’s a lot of body shots.

      No offense taken. Your post was a respectable one. And I agree with you. In my training videos, I actually encourage game play development and habit buildings before a purchase of zen or any other device. Let’s face it, zen is a bit gimmicky. It definitely won’t fix bad habits. BUT, the device does exist and a lot of people are starting to use it. We may as well be transparent about what it is and how it works. I haven’t used it in weeks myself, but I would never fault anyone for feeling like they need it.
