Saw Roky first time at 14 in Monahans texas. Driving back to kermit, the entire back windshield of Pinky Floyd’s borrowed ‘57 Chevy blew out & landed on the highway, bounced, and came down in a waterfall of glass. Thanks to Roky!!!
I used to have that cassette in the 90's. It was my introduction to Roky Erickson and the 13th floor elevators. I bought it because Jesus and Mary Chain did a song on that album. Jesus and Mary Chain was my favorite band at the time. Introduced me to a whole different world. I actually prefer Roky Ericksons solo stuff over the 13th floor elevators. Yeah That is a nice tribute collection, I wish I still had it.
