Hmmm, that is a point of debate for many Churches. Yet, all I ccan say is, if you feel uncomfortable receiving the Eucharist from a lay minister, then don't. Go to the priest. I personally neither condone nor practise this method of receiving my Lord. I always go for a priest myself. :)

@@rongablue Correct - I have NO faith (which is defined as belief without any evidence) - you are absolutely entitled to believe anything you like of course; but fact of any kind does not require belief, it being true whether you believe it or not...!!
@@brianruane8505 It is incorrect to say that faith is belief without evidence. That would be blind faith. Genuine faith has its source in the trustworthiness of Jesus Christ. I am absolutely convinced that he rose from the dead. There is a plethora of indirect proof for this. If someone could raise himself from the dead, what he says must be true. For some reason that no one understands, God remains hidden and has revealed himself in certain ways. Why he chooses to do so is a complete mystery to me. (The Catholic reason for this is original sin, because of which we have alienated ourselves from God and so cannot perceive him and our intellect is clouded). If God had been more explicit, there would be no need to convince people. But the reality is that one truly needs to struggle to find God. It is unfortunate that there are many who deceive people to make fast money from the gullibility of certain people. That does not mean that every instance that you cannot explain is pure bunk.
While I completely accept that any person has an absolute right to believe anything they wish; does it not occur to those who believe this nonsense - they must subjugate ALL rational thought and intelligence to believe it..?? How do they manage in other aspects of their lives..?? Are they not 'ripped off' in various scams all the time..?? Very sad.....

so the scientists are NOT seeing cardiac tissue, it isn't really blood even though it is evident.... ya, ok, sure.... smh
