Bradleys are IFVs not APCs. They’re a different and heaviest class of armoured vehicle that carries troops in battle. The M113 is an APC with a light aluminium hull and usually a .50 cal heavy MG. IFVs have heavy steel and alloy composite armour and an auto cannon from 20mm like the German cold war era Marder up to 40mm Swedish CV40. 25mm and 30mm are the more common caliber. Often IFVs will have 2x ATGM missiles on the turret along with advanced imaging and targeting optics.
The Swedish IFV is the CV90. Not CV40. 90 because of it first being produced in the 1990s, just like the CB90 boat. Although the Swedish designation is really Stridsfordon 90. The model with a 40mm cannon is a recent updated version. And it can penetrate the side armor of Russias modern MBTs. IFV is a designation for a lightly armored personnel carrier with high mobility. Comparing the Bradley with one is like comparing apples and oranges. What you should compare it to is Sweden's CV90, 50 of which have been donated to Ukraine by Sweden (more are on the way from, among others, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, which are two of about a dozen NATO countries in Europe that use it). Sad but true is that Ukraine has lost about 90 Bradleys against one or possibly two CV90s, no crew members on the CV vehicles have been killed. Some quick facts about the CV90: Modular construction means that it can be easily adapted for different tasks. 30, 40 or 50 millimeter Bushmaster automatic cannon or 2x 120 mm auto loaded mortars or Cockerill XC-8 turret with 105/120 mm smooth bore cannon or Advanced reconnaissance / combat management equipment Augmented reality system named iFighting. The iFighting concept fuses data from different systems within the vehicle to filter and prioritize the most critical information A state of the art multi-spectral Barracuda camouflage system Developed specifically for use in the difficult terrain of the Nordic countries, giving it exceptional off-road capabilities Top speed approx. 43 MPH
Depends on how you count. Russia has already lost. It can’t ever sustain the cost of an invasion and an always way more costly occupation that would have to be permanent. Less afford the arms race it has started, where the 2% of GDP NATO spendings must be met by Russia spending 40% of its GDP to keep up. Not 6% as the poor mathematician Putin says. Not 17% as the larger USSR had to spend to keep up with the then smaller NATO. Then add a few % for the forces that must safeguard against islamist aggression and Chinese imperialism in the east, and Japan’s increased spendings. Nor the costs of the recently doubled border to NATO, soon to be tripled, regardless where the borders are drawn in Ukraine. The inability to pay for border infrastructure being what triggered the collapse of the USSR. And the for Russia-in troops and arms-extremely costly small gains are noting but Pyrrhic victories. It’s only a matter of time and suffering for both Ukrainians and Russians before Russia will retreat. And you’re anything but a Christian. A Christian doesn’t ever use a smiley emoji when it comes to an aggressors illegally invading to steal and control another nations’s territory. Where documented war crimes have been committed by the aggressor. That is like thinking it is funny when a burglar brakes into someone’s house to maim and steal. And you know extremely well that those with such deranged morals end up downstairs when the road ends.
Bradley's faster than a Abrams, slick. An Abrams is is a 42mph piece of armor. Perhaps you mistyped or were thinking of something else like an M113. Bradley's have to be able to keep up, they are designed to work in tandem.
@ your high. There was reason tanks took lead Bradley’s were rear guard in convoys unless it’s been a minute for me I could be wrong it could 42 but I know they are not faster then that
Give these Bradleys something to cover up the IR signatures USA . The CV90s my country sent are equiped with Barracuda MCS to make them less visible. These bradley would have a much higher survival rate than they have now if they where equipped with something simular to that.
There was a Bradley wreck the Russian soldiers were inspected and named it Fury because it was surrounded by a dozen or so wrecked Russian armored combat vehicles that it must've taken out during a brutal battle.
You’ve provided historical content that’s exceptional. Great job to the team from narration to footage. I liked the AI voice as it had the right amount of force and suspense.
The problem is that when a Russian attack is detected, the Bradley's have to respond. It takes time to arrive and often the enemy has disembarked already. The other problem is that Ukraine does not have enough Bradley's to act that aggressively. It's all reliant on imports from the other side of the world. They need to be careful to conserve their own equipment and not lose their Bradley's in brazen attacks.
I'm a bit sad that Sweden doesn't allow combat footage of the CV90's they gave to Ukraine. I mean... Ukraine is praising the Bradley and showing it off in videos and such. But Ukraine isn't asking to build Bradleys... they're asking to build CV90's.
The reason they're not asking to build Bradleys is because they wouldn't get the license to do it anyway. It's not a license sold to overseas manufacturers.
I never knew that. I was wondering why there was so little footage of the CV90. Presumably, the same applies for the German Marders too. Even so, it's obvious that all NATO IFVs and MBT's outmatch Russian armour.
@@ИмяФамилия-й9с7й Never said it wasn't. It's getting plenty of praise, and certainly plenty of media cover. However, Ukraine is not asking to build Bradleys... they're asking to build CV90's. So that makes me wonder how much better the CV90 is, if that's the case.
@@Wargasm54 yeah they've been saying that since the beginning yet the RU army grows everyday. 21,000+ artillery systems lost yet RU still has a 3-5 to 1 advantage in artillery. explain that please.
It's an IFV, not an APC. The two concepts are similar, but distinct. The best way to think of an IFV is as a combination of an APC and a light tank. Basically APCs are designed to carry the infantry to the battlefield, and have just enough armor and firepower for basic self defense. IFVs are designed to carry the infantry to the battlefield, and then fight alongside them. Both are armored vehicles that carry infantry. But APCs don't have any weapons bigger than a heavy machine gun (like a 0.50 cal), and will usually only have enough armor to resist small arms fire (they might not even have enough armor to resist heavy machine gun fire). But IFVs will at least have an autocannon, and probably an ATGM as well. IFVs will usually have at least enough armor to protect them from heavy machine gun fire, and may even have enough armor to resist some autocannon fire. Some of these features can get a bit blurry, and represent tendencies rather than universals (not all IFVs have ATGMs, and some APCs are better armored than some IFVs). So the defining feature is basically whether its primary weapon is a heavy machine gun or a cannon. If it has a cannon, it's an IFV. If the biggest weapon on it is a heavy machine gun, it's an APC.
It’s crazy how modern warfare is nothing but drones where we can basically record in hi-def to watch all the action. In the future it’s gonna be robots or probably gundams which would be soo awesome, I will probably be a grandpa by then

And no they aernt all destroyed US recently gave hundreds..
And the Zaporizhzhia offensive failed because Ukraine wasn't given everything it needed, the Bradley is used in conjunction with tanks, artillery and air superiority.
The bradley isn't some super weapon that will singlehandedly reverse the Russian offensive, name one Russian vehicle that is capable of what your trying to unfairly put on the Bradley?
In none of the categories Ukraine had the advantage, frankly it was a miracle any land was liberated at all.
Ukraine learned from this and battles like Bakhmut that it can't fight Russia symmetrically rather had to use asymmetrical warfare.
This involves pulling back to conserve lives while maximizing enemy casualties, Ukraine just can't go head to head with Russia without big irreplaceable loses, Bakhmut is evident of that.
Anyway I don't get your energy it's good to criticize so Ukraine can learn from jts mistakes but I get the feeling your just Pro Russian which doesn't make sense.
Being pro Russian while not being Russian is like shooting yourself in the foot Russia is our enemy and must be defeated for the peace of Europe.
@reesecollins482 Again, the evidence is all out there the Bradley is a far superior APC then anything Russia can field.

Some quick facts about the CV90:
Modular construction means that it can be easily adapted for different tasks.
30, 40 or 50 millimeter Bushmaster automatic cannon or
2x 120 mm auto loaded mortars or
Cockerill XC-8 turret with 105/120 mm smooth bore cannon or
Advanced reconnaissance / combat management equipment
Augmented reality system named iFighting. The iFighting concept fuses data from different systems within the vehicle to filter and prioritize the most critical information
A state of the art multi-spectral Barracuda camouflage system
Developed specifically for use in the difficult terrain of the Nordic countries, giving it exceptional off-road capabilities
Top speed approx. 43 MPH

Bradley are very powerful but Russians are brave and advanced in Ukraine soil...😭😭😭😭😭
And then they will lose it all when Russia collapses and their soldiers go home to fight the civil war that follows.
Watching videos like these you get the impression Ukraine is winning. Looking at reality you see a completely different picture 😅

Content is good, but the narrator is best suited to e-games 😅
A 'retreat' is different to a 'withdrawal'. Those Bradleys withdrew from a contact, they were not retreating.

Bradley's faster than a Abrams, slick. An Abrams is is a 42mph piece of armor. Perhaps you mistyped or were thinking of something else like an M113. Bradley's have to be able to keep up, they are designed to work in tandem.

Bradley’s do not fire 10 rounds a second, its bushmaster has 2 modes 100 or 200 rounds per minute
The Bradley is an IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) and an CFV (Cavalry Fighting Vehicle), which is equipped slightly different.
I'll tell ya you Ukrainian's are the real deal !!! You guys and gals are truly kick ass !!!

GOOD JOB! Love this AI voice
It’s Ukrainian Chanel, easier to u destined for most with AI.
Those clips are more than a year ago... And they are cut... And Bradley is an IFV.

Bradley : so that others may live
The Bradley is not an APC, its an IFV.
Indeed. It is also not the best. In general, it is very solid, especially with the updates, but it has been surpassed by several IFVs.
@@markogorc2526 very far from the best actually
Its both!
@@timyrabbit well, some IFVs are seriously over the top. I mean, the top of the line ones are more expensive than a modern MBT.
No joke Sherlock 😅😅😅
Ukraine got 300 of these, the usa has over 10,000 total.
4:12 that was definitely not 10 rounds a second lmao
i think the confused the m240c coax rpm with the 25mm rpm
Those are the tracer rounds you're seeing

Bradley kickin’ more ass than the Abrahms
Pretty sure Abrahms was leading the charge a couple videos. That round makes the hits through structures.
The Breadly is a IFV not APC
Great video, guys!!
@@Americium-120 Let's face it, the concerns of American military contractors come first. They contribute to political campaigns.
I never knew that. I was wondering why there was so little footage of the CV90. Presumably, the same applies for the German Marders too. Even so, it's obvious that all NATO IFVs and MBT's outmatch Russian armour.

@@reesecollins482 Exactly
In the future it’s gonna be robots or probably gundams which would be soo awesome, I will probably be a grandpa by then
hey, compared to the fact that he's fifty years old, we like him very much and he plays very well, it took some getting used to, but we already have battle-hardened personnel who say - if you can't do it in a Bradley or one, you can't be afraid. there are losses everywhere
Great content
Narrator, please call types of equipment correctly: IFV, APC, MTLB that you named APC is just a slightly armoured tractor.
4:13; 5:39 I really hate to be a springbutt, however, the maneuver you describe here is called “retire” not “retreat”. To “retire” means to withdraw in planned and orderly manner.
