    Doing all of that in three days should make you very happy. Especially how nice it all looks. You will be able to find whatever you need. Saves time overall.

    Well done! Looks great! I need to do this too. My sewing machine is in the shop getting cleaned and adjusted and then I'm hoping to make some bags and start using all of this fabric I've collected. Some are from a fabric store but most I've found at second hand places and they are perfect for bag making. I also need to organize my yarn. I've made 5 sweaters this winter until now and almost finished the 6th. Just one sleeve to go. I'm trying to work my yarn stash down too. You have inspired me again! Thank you!

    Oh God, Maralisa! This was me, earlier this week, but books instead of fabric. When you pulled everything out and covered the floor in it - especially when the big pile slowly toppled over 😂. It's the stage when you think, what have I done? But, like your fabric, my books are all dusted and re-organised and it looks and more importantly, feels, so good! Also, these proper organisings are great for re-aquainting yourself with what you have, but it always takes MUCH longer than you think. Loved your thrift store finds and like the others who have commented I think your geometric grey top looks fabulous!

    Fabulous! I desperately need to organize my fabric. May I ask the dimensions of the cardboard you use for folding your fabric? ❤

    • @marilisalugo
      @marilisalugo  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks! The cardboard is 10" x 15" and is the perfect size for my shelves. Those are 34" long so I can make three stacks. The depth 16" so I have an inch to move the stacks back and forth. I made it of very thick cardboard and the damn thing is been with me for 6 years

    I am moving to your area in September. Lots of moths? Thanks for the heads up as I will be packing my yarn up soon.
