That is a really nice looking boom pole! Shock mount looks great too, I love the way the size adjusts. Big props to the design team.
Thank you!
Please make a sound bag! You guys the best in accessories for price/quality! We need a affordable and good quality soundbags by Deity!
This is a beautiful design. You really are considering a boom pole will last a long time so its accessories should be too. Love that you are making everything replaceable if it ever gets ruined.
Really nice design
That's a good design!
it's going onto my "desire-iist".
Cnc knuckles is a nice addition. I’ll check this out.
I have a suggestion, it’s not boom related but related to the TC-1’s
I have 4 of the TC-1’ and couldn’t imagine ever going back to syncing A/V via sound waves ever again (who still does that LOL).
What would be a super cool addition to the TC-1’s is if you made a device that could sync with the TC-1’s (like the Ambient Nanolockit logger) that could have a button you could click to make markers in the timecode for good or bad takes or any information in the TC for that matter.
Ambient is genius for that and I think it would up the value of the TC-1’s if there were something similar integrated into the units, just a thought.
Either way can’t wait for the release of the new PR2 and Theos system. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
The GoPro mount is ingenious!
I bought the boom pole. I found out that it best used for my insta360 camera for virtual tours.
Really looking forward to the PR-2 stereo recorder for nature recordings.
Deity Boom pole is an innovative product. I hope you'll make a shorter version with a built-in internal cable, and please make it available in Asia :D
seems like a lot of people are interested in an internal cable. we will look into it.
@@DeityMicrophones Gotta make it modular simular to the Ktek poles. I am one of the few that prefers straight cables!
How user-friendly is the disassembly and reassembly of the boom pole? Possible future video for maintenance?
nice !!! how about recorder any suggestion
Wow You done It again! Always great ideas from Deity.
Boom price??
$185
@@DeityMicrophones Just awesome price!
when will it be available in EU?
Can you maintain the knuckle assembly on the Boom Pole?
Which transmitter would you recommend for a wireless connection to the mic to the camera? Looking to go completely wireless
Thanks. Is there other model of shock mount from Deity ? For some reason I have a habbit for the one with a rubbers.
Am I too old-school and suspicious?
Maybe you can make a video of comparing the effectiveness of different shock mounts?
Is it possible to get extra holding cover foam for a boompole ? Just to protect it even .
Talking about wireless transmitter in plug-on shape. I don't remember do you have yours with recorder already ? Or you planning to upgrade ? Or planning to upgrade to 32 bit ? (As your new belt-pack transmitters )
Are you suggesting a kit ? With a boompole holder ? (Probably it is not commercial smart, it is cheap, but can make shipping much more expensive )
With microphone ?
With XLR or with wireless transmitter?
Internal cable is interesting as for other commenters too... But how to make it easy replaceble. And side xlr-out was mentioned , is importsnt too to have an oppurtunity to lock end of the boompole with your body or leg...
I dont know how internal xlr really is made by other manufactures... It is probably coiled. And some soft padding is used ? Is it glued to the sticks ? So anyway a lot of times i heard the sound please of cable hiting pole inside . Maybe the kind of foam coverage that can be easly removed and changed for new ...
Another size of boompole is interesting too
We are waiting so much for the bloggerrs and pros (or pros bloggerrs:). )
Can get new wireless system with recording options and make a comparison videos with some other brands (that format is probably not correct for your channel )
great! but when is the pocket wireless transmitter going to be 2? i mean deity pocket wireless II
And... why don't I have a Deity boom pole yet?
Right….heck you should be on their development team. That in-depth review you did of the BP-TRX probably why they pulled the plug on it but look at the monster you created, now we got better wireless and pocket recorders coming out next month. Bravo to you, @deity PAY THIS MAN EXPEDITIOUSLY LOL
@@olewismediagroup I don't accept money from manufacturers unless it's a consulting contract (under some terms and conditions) but thank you for your concern. Just doing my part to make the sound industry better.
Glad to see you in comments.
Is 3/8 hole compatible/adaptable w/low-spread tripod legs?
Nooooo I just bought a boom pole, when I could have bought this?!
So are you saying I can fix the mic to my headstrap now? 🤩😄
Curious to hear why you did not place the XLR cord inside the boom pole instead of having to wrap it outside the pole.
The ASM1 allows for a plug-on transmitter to be attached directly, having the transmitter near the mic increases the range and reliability of the wireless signal as it's now high in the air above everyone.
@@DeityMicrophones Thanks for the rationale.
@@DeityMicrophonesthe dangling nature of cable outside is such a pain for boming
Any option to add internal cabling to the boom pole, and if so, plans for a side exit at the base?
We'll see how this one goes first before we make another one.
Can the ASM-1 be used with a rode shotgun mic? I know it’s only used for deity. Wanted to know if there are modifications that can be made? Thanks
No modifications are needed. Just pop the microphone onto the shockmount.
How about a boom pole / microphone giveaway? :)
how can i make it internally cabled? Are you guys coming out with conversion kit?
You cant
Honestly got excited for a minute then upon further inspection, and now seeing the video, the fact it doesn't have an internal XLR cable makes this boom pole useless for me as a location bag mixer.
With the main reason being I try not to use a wireless signal for my boom mic unless it is absolutely necessary. Now for a boom op, this is cool.
How about a Theos plug on transmitter?👀
Ok ❤
The boom pole doesn’t have an integrated cable?
The ASM1 allows for a plug-on transmitter to be attached directly, having the transmitter near the mic increases the range and reliability of the wireless signal as it's now high in the air above everyone.
I'm an amateur, but my understanding is most pros now use wireless transmitters at the end of the pole instead of a cabled run to a chest/shoulder bag. Completely eliminates cable noise on the pole, allows hand off for complex moving scenes, allows transmission to a mixing cart, etc. Of course the cost is higher by introducing wireless transmitters rather than just a gig bag with a recorder inside.
How can I get this in Nigeria?
AUDVideo is our dealer in Nigeria. Check in with them.
how can this aimed at professional while doesn't have xlr inside
