I'm a huge fan of Dino adventure gameplay since Dino Crisis. If they pull this off, with all that accurate physics, this will be phenomenal. Just make the bullet holes a little smaller, then you have a realistic dino FPS.
Yeah I thought they were oversized as well. Could also do with some loose cloth when the canvas vs shotgun scene came up but it seems good in general.
I thought about it, then at 9:17 you can clearly see the shotgun blowed a palm tree, I first thought it was ridiculous, then I remembered, you are supposed to have dino-killing equipment, no wonder it shreds everything to pieces !
@@rhiilo A shotgun can definitely be powerful enough to blow a palm tree trunk to pieces. Palm trees aren't necessarily known for having strong trunks lol.
@@nicethaddy5955 Forgive me but its hard to believe. I dont see in what world some metal bullets will rip off a 2 foot large piece of wood
second extinciton ?
finally, a video game which achieves rolling waves that crash on a beach! That was probably one of the last effects video games needed to do properly, and this game does it great!
not the first game though.
i hope you being sarcastic xD
Horizon Forbidden West accomplished this
@@groxiverde that game had beautiful graphics.. really impressed with that
You must be new to gaming
Something i would love to see is more interaction with the passive creatures. It'll really make them come to life if they could approach the player and maybe sniff them. (Maybe even let you pet them?) Could be a rare but beautiful moment
Good idea
Pet dinos is not realistic idea
@@Lera_2016_official ofc it is! Wanna ask my T rex??
@@Lera_2016_official yeah certain wild dinos that's a nono. But just like it's possible to befriend an elephant, but not a zebra. Some could have a possibility to be more docile towards humans
@@Lera_2016_official neither It is an island full of dinosaurs
I have the impression of going back 10 years to the time when the developers racked their brains to offer a credible world there is still a lot of work to do but the result is already fantastic can't wait to see what's next
I'm so fucking tired of people pretending like there's no good games anymore these days. Have you even played God of War Ragnarok or Elden Ring?
@@theunderdog9353 did i say there are no good games? I don't believe what I said is that the devs don't really take the lead these days of course there are fantastic games no I haven't played the games you mentioned I can however advise a plague tale requiem which is a real masterpiece apart from a recessed gameplay everything else is perfect so stop getting excited for nothing thank you
"I have the impression of going back 10 years to the time when the developers racked their brains to offer a credible world." That implies the same cannot be said about games today, so yes, you did say that. What the hell else could you mean by that lol
@@theunderdog9353 what is beautiful is to see that YOUR interpretation of things is THE right one which is not the case
@@julienperalta9724 You still haven't said what you did mean by that
It's like far cry and Jurassic Park basically in one universe. This game should be awesome when it comes out
it feels more like skull island the lost island
Turok as well
More like Crysis than far cry. You don’t have a shitty story line with markers all over the map.
Turok mixing King Kong
This is what ark should of been
Not really
For real it should have
sHoUlD oF
Ark is a science-fiction themed game focused on taming creatures, it wasn’t meant to be a survival-horror shooter.
@@crapaudbiscornu7941 could of been both tbh
Can you imagine that as the secret Enemy/Boss, there is Primal's *Infected Sauropod?* From FPS to Survival Horror in a snap.
That would be fucking amazing lol
ya I was just dissapointed that it was the only infected thing they encountered. I was waiting for some zombie raptors or something
@@CYBERWOLF-3000 Honestly, for me the Sauropod was enough. The episode was already a nightmare as it is. If as a monster there had been a Velociraptor Zombie (or even a triceratops for example), I would have been disappointed too, since they are not so big beasts, but considering that the zombie in question was an unstoppable colossal beast in decomposition of 20 and passes meters, which weighed 100 tons, and which above all was originally a gentle animal that later became a murderous beast, I'd say it's perfect. That episode is far scarier than all the horror movies that have come out in the last 25 years.
This is what I think of course, everyone has their own definition of perfection.
@@Batmans_Justice I mean ya it was cool and I get that was the idea, but they could have done another episode on it with more variety. Or at least used a few raptors to force them out of hiding here and there, forming a team with the long neck. I'm really into zombies so just seeing a horde of different decayed dinosaurs would have been awesome. I just feel like there was missed potential.
@@CYBERWOLF-3000 Yes, this is true, in particular, I really would like to know where the heck this epidemic started from. All we know is that a Infected Parasaurolophus bit the Sauropod... Ok, but...
*Where did this Parasaurolophus contract the disease?*
*Has anyone else bit him, or is he the victim of a Cursed Disease?*
*Also, are there any other infected dinosaurs out there?*
*Can disease only infect one being at a time?*
There are too many questions that I fear we will never get answers to. Maybe, in a future third season they will give us some information about it. Some say that the disease was contracted by the Parasaurolophus who drank a potion of the witches from the eighth episode (a risky theory, given that Spear and Fang meet them many kilometers from where the Parasaurolophus appeared), others say that a bite of those Giant Bats may have transmitted the disease (someone here thought about the covid), but a real answer does not yet exist. I really hope they talk about this phantom Plague of Madness again sooner or later.
Not gonna lie, the physics involved in this game are astonishing. I'm definetly interested in this title, but i don't know how far in development it is, and before this trailer popped in my youtube algorythm i never heard about this. Remember that marketing makes or takes a game. I hope to see you soon doing some ripples in the videogame industry. Good luck.
I would love if during a firefight, the gunshot noises attracted y predators, so at some point fighting those guys, something like a pack of raptors join in and make things more chaotic for both the player and the enemy ai.
Other than that tho, love what we've been shown so far.
Usually animals run away at the sound of gunshots, they are not zombies
@@blitzKRIS Hahahaha I was thinking the same, this dude watches a lot of movies
I doubt a trex would know what a gunshot is. It would probably run toward the sound and for a game like this, that could be a pretty bad time to get distracted.
@@blitzKRIS I highly doubt dinosaurs would know what a gunshot is. They wouldn't associate it with danger
@@northamerica5142 almost all animals don't know a gunshot is what it is, they just associate a loud noise with danger.
The moving water at 1:45 is insane
Props to the developers who are clearly passionate about learning about game development but this product clearly needs a lot of work to make it really release ready.
It's only a map and a basic fps back. You people fall for every game scam
@@camtwan1 There is a lot of work here that has been done by the developers themselves.
@@camtwan1 You... you really think this is the final product??
@@camtwan1 First, the game is clearly not finished nor close to being finished.
Secondly, what scam? Its just showing what the game currently is, literally nothing else. There is no kickstarter to take your money.
Man I can't wait for this to come out. It's been far too long since I've had the pleasure of playing a dino fps.
trespasser was pretty great
@@CyberpowerPCGUA3100aGaming true but I never played that growing up. I only played dino crisis 2, turok evolution, turok (2008) and king kong. I've been waiting for a game like Project Ferocious, Instinction and The Lost Wild for the longest time lol can't wait for those 🔥
Turok (2008) players are a different breed of chad
@@KevinJohnson-cv2no lol big facts bro
I think “Instinction” will be better, if you don’t know what it is look it up, it’s basically this but I think it has better graphics!!
It was great to see the wildlife in the game. Looking forward to the full release.
Nice graphics and i like the destructive elements in the game but the holes from bullets its waaaaay big 💪❤️
7:46 ...
this crysis mod is insane, no but for real game looks really amazing.
Not sure what the driving force is with the plot/storyline, but my GAAAWWWD the detail, graphics, physics & all-out beauty of the game looks absolutely stunning!
I'll keep an eye out on this game, for sure. (daaaaay'um)
I have so much King Kong Feeling if i see the Coasts and Crabs, looks Amazing and Scary
Same nostalgic
I really hope that the real game will be like as shown here, if not even better. There are too many games where they'll show game play videos where it'll look and be much better than the real game and not even be in the game. Like how Bioshock Infinite Dark Souls 2 turned out for example.
Dark souls 2 was awesome. I learned a lot from that game. You use bad examples.
Imagine if this is what the Ark 2 gameplay reveal is gonna look like. I'll literally cry tears of joy.
yeah hope it looks somewhat like this
Getting some major King Kong 2005 game vibe from this. It was fun playing that as a kid.
Just a thought: make the objects heavier. I.e. the barrels or pallets the character pushes in the video. Looks great so far.
Awesome!! PROJECT FEROCIOUS game play demo!
this looks amazing, never really see any games with good water physics or waves cause they are hard to do, but it looks good when done right, even the effect from the creatures tail swimming, amazing
Yea this is the first game with water physics.
Far Cry with dynos and amazing physics? I'm down for it, let's hope the story is good.
If nobody else will try to build on what Crysis did for physics back in the day, might as well do it yourself in 2022.
This is what Turok Dinosaur Hunter looked like back in 1997.
The question is will the actual gameplay as good as this demo, hope it will cause this is amazing
It reminds me the good old times of Turok on Nintendo 64. Amazing!
i have always wanted to play a game like the classic ol' Dino Crisis or Turok from playstation 1
I hope this game will be something similar
& I hope it will be on Steam!!
I love the misty dense terrain open world landscape
The crab parts almost have to be a reference to the king kong game for ps2 and xbox 360, glad to see it
this looks like The Isle taken to another level, would be great if there are still the socializing aspects with other players as dinos too :D
0:16 dude that wavy-ass tail killed me
The Ocean and shore mechanics are unbelievably on point! Beautiful work. Please make for Xbox
As if a console could handle this hahaha
@@vladdracul2379 you'd be surprised
@@evinjacobs5028
Not really. Consoles aren't equipped with the best CPUs and one thing we're finding more and more with new games releasing is that they tank CPU performance.
@@vladdracul2379 that's why PCs have graphic and performance options I'm not saying this game in particular is going to be on console but could it run a game like this at a 30 or 40 frame lock and restricted graphic and performance option. 100%
Only pc can do justice with this game
You know what this reminds me of? Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie, with armor-piercing bullets
more interaction with dinos, sense of danger even with herbivour ones would be great.
ITS THAT GIANT GODDAM CRAB AGAIN FROM THE King Kong 2005 GAME
looks like the devs got some great graphics and they don't know what game to make with them :-S
It’s one developer
Awesome!!! PROJECT FEROCIOUS game play👍
Esse jogo parece incrível!
Man that diplocaulus swimming around was pretty
It gives me Turok vibes
This is giving like 2005 Peter Jackson's King Kong vibes and I fucking LOVE it
wow
the water simulation and the sea waves
physics on the sand when you walk on it or move those barrels on the sand
has never been seen before in any game
the raining indoor seems cool
Looks beautiful and well thought out, can’t wait to play it!
Looks like a tech demo to me. Zero story or characters.
that physics looks awesome, we need this things more
This looks fantastic
It won’t happen, but I’d love for Turok to come back with this as a foundation. It would be a masterpiece. That being said, this looks incredible and I am 100% looking forward to a full release.
So hope this makes it to console
Thank god the devs didn't focus 95% on just incredible textures but put some effort into physics and gunplay too, with destructible objects and walls.
Well, you made beautiful visuals and nice physics. If you deliver good performance and addictive, or at least not boring gameplay game will be good. Looks like next-gen game. Don't rush it too much, we all know what happened to Cyberpunk and, I hope, you can make nice, decent popular game in about a year or two. Good luck.
Thanks for the trailer, looks nice :)
This games landscape/environment, water system, graphics and dinos are amazingly stunning. But everything else looks really rough, gun play looks unrefined, the AI look clumsy and unintelligent. Rain animation still going on while inside a house, and the water clipping through the boat. Needs more polish but could potentially be a crazy experience when finished.
Would of been nice to see the shark I watched a video about a year ago about this game with a bit of shark in the water footage it looks really good you can't go wrong with dinosaurs and gun's I just hope there is more to the weather dynamic other than rain grey and misty I also think some elements in the gunplay in the trailer were very dark looks like the suppression added to it makes it look a bit disorienting even his play in the trailer looked like retreating shoot from the hip messy. just a bit to plain would of been nice to see a small fraction of coloured feathers on some of the dinosaurs and fauna not just elephant grey after all there are theoretical views that some may of been this way and amphibians reptiles birds and insects have flash colour for warning who knows maybe this is just an early section and it comes alive with added textures as you progress all that said it looks fantastic so far reminds me of turok and crisis but with a 2022 massive makeover
Star Citizen and it's backers should take note that a single person on an infinity smaller budget did this.
great work.
I have written a pair of dinosaur books on amazon that are part of an ongoing series called The Kaligen Experiment. It also is a scary horror-driven story about dinosaurs. Here is the synopsis:
"Dr. Edgar Crews was a young autistic prodigy who wanted to change the world. He gets his chance when he participates in the most ambitious and elaborate ecological experiment in the history of mankind. Edgar's contribution results in the creation of a new breed of dinosaurs unlike any the planet has ever seen. For a decade, the experiment goes swimmingly until it is sabotaged by a group of extremists. Now, Edgar and his research team must escape from the very primeval ecosystem they created. Along the way, they encounter evolutionary mutations no one has ever dreamed of. Follow a band of survivors as they endure the hike from hell!"
games are getting so good
I can imagine the only way to down a Rex is concentrated weapons' fire on an ankle, embedding a whole magazine into the joint just for starters, then ram it with a forklift. And the crabs, ever kill a crab, a crab doesn't even know when they're dead, they can fight on 0hp for like five minutes at full strength, see the crab in the Delta P video.
What system is this for i bet pc probably just all the other dope ass games lol
u expect this to run on a 10fps console? xD
@@italianrager5831 better chips in new consoles
Reminds me of Peter Jackson’s King Kong Video game but within a modern military setting and insane graphics/physics.
This music got me thinking Jason about to pop up and slash some zombies up in Kino Der Toten in BO1 Zombies
Wow takes me back to playing Carnivores 2 back in the day. Definitely going to keep an eye on this when it releases.
This game reminds me of a age old game that was sorta like this minus the the dinosaurs, it had a extremely fun creative mode for building your own little islands and such, but I can't remember the name of it now.
But the inclusion of playing as said Dino's looks interesting among the kther things assuming they work and work well.
The attention to deal 😮
For some odd reason what really got me was the beach scene with the footprints and barrels leaving different impressions in the sand regarding how the rolled. The gunbashing animation on windows needs to be fixed though. Same damage point for shooting it doesnt make much sense.
1:33 looks like an area and scene from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. That area even had 3 crabs about the same size. STOLEN VALOR!
Aside from the dramatic music when looking at a tent,😆looks like a solid start.
I feel strong flashbacks of "Peter Jackson's King Kong" 2005
Looking good but still needs a ton of work to be a good game. As it was already said by some people, the framerate drops during the gunfights is pretty concerning. Blood effects is really weird, needs to be lighter I guess. AI and animations look a bit goofy. Keep up the good work, I'm sure you can do it :)
Сколько же будет весить эта игра после установки? Какое железо нужно иметь для таких графических эффектов?
yow those algorithms for the ocean probably fucking the most impressive thing since gaming, coding, and vfx ever was a thing
all i can say is i hope we can play as dinos, they already have it made watching the trailer. being able to do both instead of it just being a shooter would be a big deal. a good dino game with nice graphics.
So much of that looks amazing, but the weather system clearly needs improvements. No rain culling at 7:00. It's raining through roofs. I hope they fix that, that was already such an immersion killer in Ark Survival.
This is the first game that’s made my jaw drop
This looks good, I just wish you would use more accurate dinosaur models with this beautiful landscapes. But besides this, this looks like a snack
I'd love to see this attention to detail about environmental physics in other games, most triple A games if not all don't have some of this stuff. especially the bullet physics
More games need to utilize lighting at 3:40. This just looks amazing
ARK Devs: "Huston... we got a problem..."
I dont know about yall, but this is giving me some King Kong 2005 vibes. Very good! I cant wait for this!
looks like some, Peter Jacksons King Kong inspiration. hopefully this doesn't end up another dead end project like so many others.
Wait this 3:00 is hands down The Best Wave ever
This reminds me a bit of Peter Jacksons King Kong game, would be cool to see a mod including him in the future
A mix of Peter Jackson's King Kong and Crysis
i wish the best for the development of this game this has huge potential
King Kong Skull Island vibes.
Trespasser too, the physics improvement and the lore
I saw this exact trailer a while back.
perfect game , this is in my top 3 favorite games , the second one is hitman VR , and the third one is starship troopers extermination
The glass breaking is so good!
Looks like a combination of Turok and Kong Skull Island, would buy!
I don't want to put too much pressure on them.
However this really does look like a spiritual successor to JP:TP.
Not that bad. We need physics, more physics and much more physics. i really interest that one people can do all this stuff.
This game is basically Turok 2 and I love it.
Buddy, When holding rifle - left arm should grow from the left shoulder, not from belly. U did it correct with shotgun
Nice it is good to see when you get that realism like half life 2. A world that really reacts to your actions.
I really like look of this. Know not Jurassic park but been wanting dinosaurs or mythic monster game realistic as this for ages
Call of duty + battlefied + dinos=this
So, Crysis meets Jurassic Park and Skull Island
OMG. Can't wait to buy it for my PC.
havent yet seen a game with so much effort into graphics
3:00
This is why I spent over $1500 on a PC. If this game comes out like this, it will be the last one I ever need to play.
Usually, if something seems too good to be true, it almost always is. Just remember that. Remember Overwatch 2, or remember Cyberpunk. Remember those when you get your hopes up, especially if it's a Dev trying to get you hyped up.
kinda reminds me of kong skull island. looks really good
