@Kevin Sullivan Well you haven't been to Australia, it's a beautiful huge country, we have it all. I've been to most of America West to East, down South and between, our oceans and sand amazing, (did you realise they import our sand to Miami); including all the big cities, towns you name it, so I can disagree with you big time. We have temperate and tropical it depends what you prefer. The only 2 places I missed seeing is Seattle and Portland in America. Australia is the smallest Continent in the World but the biggest Island in the World, the same size as USA. The one thing I can say for America is that I adored the people and the hospitality was amazing. Yes I met such lovely people.

@Kevin Sullivan No I've seen all the beaches too gosh not just Miami, when I travelled I saw nothing but desert in America as well, it went on and on, when you cross our lands interstate there is red soil but very unusual as it's growing cotton, many farmlands our States are huge actually , to see Sydney Harbour you'll never forget, then Victoria with the Mornington Peninsula, I'm lucky to have driven with my daughter (sales Rep in the Wine industry, we have driven thousands and thousands of ks where there are waterfalls, gorgeous trees, places I haven't ever heard of, I haven't been to Nullarbor which is desert but have been told there a cute towns along but I can't vouch for that till I see it for myself, I haven't been on the Gharn rail that is leaving in the Northern Territory, very first class and you get out and explore the town's then hop back on and I'm pretty sure you arrive in Adelaide which is a gorgeous City, just told by new friends as I'd been to Adelaide, I live in Brisbane Qld 3rd largest City, it has a quaintness about it but only an hour from the North and South Coasts, now there is the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see, then up North Qld a bunch of Islands (Whitsundays) near the Great Barrier Reef, but my honest opinion is that Sydney Harbour takes your breath away absolutely beautiful, truly I've met many Americans that would never leave to go back, I had to tell you the facts, A lot of people think like you until they get here, it surprised us, what style of life your wanting will be here I can assure you. Regards, Cherrylle. PS we could do with a better Govt, haha.

@Kevin Sullivan I saw so much desert in America but didn't see any greenery that was west to east and all flax flying everywhere but no greenery, we have lakes and would you believe at Mt Kosciusko we get more snow then the Alps. Anyhow it's late here in Australia, I have to be up early as I am going to the dentist practically all day, something I'm definately not looking forward to. Anyhow it's great you have pride in your country. I forgot to ask you where. you live.Cheers.

@Kevin Sullivan I didn't say on your east side don't worry my god it took forever in deserts going down towards New Mexico. Never ending journey of deserts We've got no deserts on our eastside either, I'm not telling you how beautiful Australia is, go ask a friend whose been, especially one who has travelled to our magic land. Don't forget to have a gun, I couldn't imagine a citizen having a registered gun, if I lived there I probably would have to as well, the crime and homeless is so serious.. Keep safe and have a good life. Bye.
