Thanks for watching. You are right that there is some variation in how furnaces are configured. If we do an update to this series we'll try to mention more of these variations.
Thanks for watching. This video didn't go into the specifics on the flame sensor or thermocouple as these are covered in other videos. We might however do an update to include those segments.

When I open the front cover for vacuuming inside the firnace, there was something like filter attached to that front cover. That filter kind of thing was very dirty and broke. What do we call that one? It is round fiber something. Where to find it. Can we turn on furnace without that? Just closing the front cover?
@@AmreSupply it is more of a heat shield to that front cover. Visited local hoe depot. They don’t have anything. I took out a piece of ceiling and wall fibreglass insulation (like wool) and cut it to match that cover and using that now. I put aluminum duct tape to hold the insulation to that cover. This part directly come into touch with burner fire. I am afraid for carbon leak or fire.

Thanks for watching. 6 months is the absolute maximum but it depends on the filter and how often it is used. You are right that in some cases a replacement is needed every month.

Any maintenance that doesn't include cleaning the flame sensor is not a good maintenance.

Hello, I have yet a video about water heater filter cleaning.
Thanks for watching. We have a water heater maintenance guide that shows how to clean the flame arrestor screen on the bottom of a standing pilot water heater: ruclips.net/video/ZTUNLIXKVu4/видео.htmlsi=hweIyFjcllBAQwiT&t=158

Thanks for watching. Are you referring to a gasket that goes around the entire edge of the front cover? Or is the filter wider than an inch?

Don't forget to clean your flame sensor at least annually
Yes Lori that is another good tip. The steps for cleaning it can be seen here: ruclips.net/video/af_qRnfHFws/видео.html

My furnace has a metal filter it looks like?
Thanks for watching! You might have a washable electrostatic filter. See if you can read the manual or doublecheck the printing on the side.
AMRE Supply Thank you and I noticed the operating light I sent illuminated to the filter I even changed the fuses and it still doesn’t work.

Bruh take out the motor and clean the inside of the wheel
Thanks for watching. Yes cleaning the inside of the wheel can be helpful as well depending on the circumstances.
You should replace your filter monthly not every 6months....

I think you mean six months is the absolute maximum
@@norahsmith3320 Yes you are correct. That typo is fixed now for anyone reading this after the fact.
