Same here! Also, it you wanna know my thoughts on the MM vs Kazuya matchup I’ll say them and explain why Mega Man doesn’t curb stomp Kaz, but does beat him pretty well.
@Luis Rivera So the reason that Mega Man doesn’t curb stomp Kazuya is because Mega is combo food, and Kazuya can armor through lemons. So getting in isn’t too difficult and when he does get in, he can do a lot of damage. But where Mega Man shines is edge guarding and still being able to keep his distance from Kaz. Kazuya can armor lemons, but not metal blade, leaf shield (except with rage drive), or crash bomb. MM can also crouch under laser and even EWGF as a way to dodge if he needs to. And sure, MM can camp him out, but it’s not entirely a requirement. Just keep your distance with your other tools other than lemons (if you’re gonna use a lemon moved make sure you hit with the hitbox on the buster so Kaz can’t use his armor), watch out for his reflector, know that you can low profile laser and EWGF with your crouch, abuse Kaz’s lack of great landing options with up air, use your own combos to get him off stage, edge guard him, and boom. That’s how MM wins on paper. It doesn’t always good this way, but that’s my thoughts at least. It’s a matchup that requires caution, but isn’t that much of a problem.
@Luis Rivera Also, to go back to what you were saying about hit and run tactics, while they can work I think you’re better off doing bait and punish. MM’s punish game is really good, and waiting for Kazuya to make a move so you can punish can put you in a great position.
This might be the most entertaining Megaman play I've seen yet. You're awesome Peabnut.
Peabnut is so good.
Love to see my boy Mega Man get some spotlight.
