The mod is incredible. I've seen some gameplay a bit ago, I think, in a video from that song. But never got to play it, until today, hehe. The way y'all managed to adapt to the SMB style is perfectly on point. The animations of the characters look incredible, filled with emotions, despite it being all in 8-bit, which is pretty amazing! I didn't manage to beat this song yet, but that just means I'm gonna have to train harder, hehe. Also, seeing that song in freeplay just made something click in my head, that could be cool to see in some mods. I dunno if SMB is one of those games that is compatible with it, but basically, I thought that in one mod made after a video game, like this, it would be cool if there was a song called ACTION-REPLAY, and to access it you need to put a specific code (that'd be the song's json file name, could for example be a random code. And the file is tied to a song called ACTION-REPLAY), in the debug menu song prompt. It'd be pretty fitting in my opinion, seeing how an action replay is a tool to enable cheat codes, and going to the debug menu may remind someone of that. Just throwing some ideas out there because why not, hehe. To whoever is reading this, have a nice day/evening/noon! ^^

This is an amazing mod, not only does it have banging music, not only does it stay true to the NES and Super Mario Bros. but the fact that it has so many little details, like BF needing to use power-ups to stay alive, the hidden 1-up block in the first level, the goddamn OPTIONS menu, etc. etc. This is no S tier, but it's definitely a high A. Thank god we are getting something amazing for Mario (and Luigi), cause Sonic has been getting a lot of attention lately from the FNF community, glad the character that made my childhood got a banger mod.

well, they arent references to specific mods really, just good poses that fit luigi. his 2 player game sprites were inspired by Smash Bros, while his CCC sprites (which i did actually) were based off the Mario and Luigi RPGs
