@@gear.institute I think we couldn't put the Pressure Guage very near to the Nozzle or throttle because as the pressure drops steam will suddenly expand and that might give false readings. Putting the pressure gauge little far allows the steam to be stable.
Sir you told in throttling process enthalpy remains constant (h1=h2)but in throttling calorimeter if phase change from wet steam to superheat steam then enthalpy changes from h1 to h2. We have formula. H=u+pv ,here after throttling pressure decreases means enthalpy drop according to formula?
Why pressure gauge is not used to measure the pressure of steam after throttling What I think: Because the pressure is getting reduced sometimes the pressure gauge will not give accurate results due to its high least count or insensitiveness to such low pressure . Thats why manometer is used.

H=U+PV, So when the pressure drops, the Volume will increase keeping the H constant.
That's my understanding.
