No quarterback can perform well if the team he plays for throws 90% of their passes on 3rd and long. Cousins played solid to superb for 8 of 9 games. The first game was not good but that is on Morris for not allowing him to play at all in the preseason. He played well in the first of these recent losses and in the second loss as well. If some kicks were made the Falcons would have been 8-3 make that 9-2 if they were not robbed by the refs against the Chiefs. It is hard to collect touchdown passes when you are only throwing when the defense knows you are throwing and you don't throw in the red zone. The Chargers game was a stinker but Kurt Warner's analysis was that 3 of the 4 interceptions were not on Kirk, IDK. He played very well against the Vikings except for two pass attempts. Darnold had more bad passes than that and went for 5 TDs and 0 ints but he was throwing against Atlanta's secondary. Then against the Raiders Cousins had a good first half but started the second half with an interception on a tipped ball that would have been complete if not tipped. Then they took the ball out of his hands. The commentary was that he missed a wide open Ray Ray McCloud once later but the ball was throw exactly between the defenders in the zone. Instead of settling in the soft spot McCloud kept running and the ball was behind him but still catchable and would have been a first down. Kirk needs to get the hell out of Atlanta to somewhere with an adequate offensive coordinator to save his career.
I think Kirk has made the most $$ for an average N.F.L Q.B.
My favorite part was when Dan Orlovsky went crazy

Atlanta will blame BELICHICK for BELICHICK's KARMA on them:)
I think the Giants will be in the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes next season. He would fit their offense.
Really?
