Is there a 5 V and ground on the flight controller that you just tapped into with the runcam?
yes, there are several free contact pads with +5V and ground

Quick question. I had Meteor 65pro (ELRS) + RadioMaster Pocket
Then I bought Meteor 85 (ELRS). I couldn't bind either by button or by a bind phrase. After a long investigation, I discovered that the Pocket transmitter works on 1000Hz, but the Drone 85 only supports 500Hz. So, I had to changes Packet Rate on the Pocket to 500Hz.
So, now both my Meteors are connected with the Pocket. Did you have the same issue?

I didn't have issues with ELRS connection.
My Radiomaster Zorro was connected with meteor through betaflight configurator, when it was with Elrs v2. Now my Zorro has elrs v3 and I use it only with CineLog 25.
For my old tinywoops I use Betafpv LightRadio3
To put it into bind mode, you need to remove and reconnect power 3 times.
I have one of these things, and it keeps failsafe thing and dropping out of the sky. How do you have this thing set up in betaflight? I can keep it flying it close range with crystal clear VTX, but for some reason my Little Bitty literadio2 from Beta FPV loses signal. But with the 65pro I can fly that drone pretty damn far away. Any tips?
I did not change the settings in betaflight, all settings are from the manufacturer. I'm using a LiteRadio 3 ExpressLRS 2.4G remote and it has a good connection. When flying over long distances, the video connection will disappear much earlier, but definitely not the connection with the remote control
You’re probably burned out the VTX. Setting it up in beta flight and keeping it on too long w the 400mw on . What’s gonna happen is you’re gonna get it up in the air within 10 to 15 seconds it’s going to lose signal and drop out of the sky. or on land on its own, you just need to buy a new one or replace the flight controller

I bought a long antenna with RP-SMA connector (Polarisation:RHCP, 5.8G) from an online shop. Unscrew the original antenna and screw on a new one instead, that's all)

How to make Meteor85 FPV drone with Runcam Thumb camera on top? can you take a video :)
The camera is attached with three plastic ties - one long one through the canopy, and two short ties attach the camera mount to the first tie. The camera is powered by the flight controller. I soldered a connector in the corner of the flight controller to the 5 volt pins next to the buzzer pins. If necessary, the camera can be turned off and removed from the drone.

Antenna -Lollipop 4 5.8G Mini RHCP long RPSMA.
Yes, the connection quality is much better if you put the same antenna on the drone (but with a UFL connector). With these antennas, I can fly much farther without signal degradation.

@@pawelec8076 No, there is an RP SMA connection. you just need to unscrew the original antenna and screw on the new one

Качество сигнала значительно лучше чем со стоковой антенной. Дальше 200 м я не летаю, но залетая за дерево помех значительно меньше, на оригинальной антенне можно потерять дрон в 50м за деревом
