This seems like a really awesome Park my home park is California's Great America and I must say I'm very impressed by the way this park looks and you guys at least have a launch coaster and a hyper coaster something we are lacking all you guys need is a B&M invert or floorless
Valley fair is a great park and really cheap for day tickets. Not to mention that wild thing has the longest low grav section on coaster history. The absolute best though is going during October, where they turn the entire park into one big haunted house.
Cool ranking! This park is underrated for sure and i hope to visit again soon! I'm currently making a review for high roller which i plan to have out by saturday!
high roller will always be my favorite 🤩 i first went on it with my best friend and i go on every time i go to valleyfair! makes me get butterflies, nice video btw!
Just found your channel and I am so happy to see someone giving Valleyfair some love. It’s my home park so I love hearing everything about it. My list would be: Cosmic Coaster (it’s just a kiddie coaster but a good one) Corkscrew (because it hurts me and I’ve seen people come off of it bleeding from getting their earring studs jammed into their heads) Steel Venom (I am terrified of this ride) Mad Mouse (I really like this one but it’s not as thrilling as others) High Roller (an oldie but a goodie it will always hold that special place as my first real coaster) Excalibur (my personal favorite I wish it got more love honestly but I also understand that it’s short and there are more extreme coasters) Wild Thing (just for the drop is why it gets this high) Renegade (most fun coaster in the park and the newest but it’s still 13 soooo that’s not saying much) Love your videos and keep showing these coasters some love!
Being in the front row of Steel Venom at the point when you're facing straight down always scared the hell outta me, thinking the harness would give way and I'd fall to my doom.
It’s hilarious because I’m going to valley fair today! I love it 😍 Edit: my favorite ride is probably the High Roller, the corkscrew, or the Ferris wheel 😂 I also went to the water park and is was AMAZINGG
looks like a great park, i hope i can still visit in july with my new trip dates, would love to ride some of these awesome looking coasters, and any cedar fair arrow coaster is on my bucket list as they seem to be on the chopping block more now than ever
At least the three smallest Cedar Fair parks have top tier woodies so that each park provides something to the Cedar Fair portfolio. Shivering Timbers, Renegade, and Prowler look to be at the very least top 15 woodies in North America.
Is say the wild thing is n1 for me corkscrew is n2(cause it was my grandpa’s favourite) and renegade is n3 I think the wild thing is my fav because my dad scared me while going up the first hill by saying “once your on there’s no going back”. Lol! Renegade was pretty fun tho
you can see a graveyard outside of the park by the high roller and my dad told me when we were on the ride... and thats why the high roller was the scariest when i was smaller
Valley fair is the best place I have been I go there all the time with my dad and I don't care how long the drive is there but when I get there I go on all the ride right away it so much fun
My list: 8: cosmic coaster OK even though it is meant for kids it whips around fast! 7: Excalibur is um sometimes a reaction of ouch ouch and ouch lol 😆 6: mad mouse short and bumpy at the end but I always yell Yahoo down the hills to get some laughs! 5: renegade only be I almost hit my friend in the head bc I had my hands up and yea lol 4: high roller smooth in front and fast in back! 3: steel venom don't go on it to much but do like riding and watching! 2: wild thing stellar airtime on the 2nd hill and so much fun in the 2nd to last seat in the back! 1: corkscrew only looping coaster and just so much fun and it's nice over the midway
My favorite roller coaster there is Renegade, followed by Wild Thing, High Roller, Steel Venom, Excalibur, Corkscrew, Mad Mouse, and Mild Thing (R.I.P.).
My worst to best Roller Coasters at ValleyFair- 8-Cosmic Coaster(Made for kids, me and my friend couldn't even fit today) 7-Mad Mouse(Very boring, not worth the wait) 6-High Roller(Classic and very reptive) 5-Corkscrew(You hurt you're head a lot, and only 1 loopt loop. 4-Rengade(Long wait but overall rlly fun) 3-Excalibur(In my OPION it's better than Renagade) 2-Steel Venom(Fast but not to fast so Wild thing is 1st) 1-Wild Thing(Highset and Fastest Roller Coaster there)
My ranking (plz dont be rude if i dont put ur fav at the top of my list its just my opinion): 9 Cosmic Coaster 8: Excalibur 7: Renagade 6: Mad mouse 5: High roller 3: Steel venom 2: Wild thing 1: Corkscrew only bc its the only coaster with loops!
That’s a good list! I can see where you are coming from. Some people love loops and other inversions more than wooden coasters. And that’s totally valid!
My rankings would be quite similar to yours. This is mine: #8 Corkscrew (bc of the head getting bonged XD) #7 Cosmetic Coaster (although that one is made for little kids) #6 Mad Mouse (I don't like how it feels like you will fall off) #5 Steel Venom (Been on it once but never again for two reasons. It freaked me out bc I kept thinking I was going to hit myself on some part of the ride, and two bc I have seen SO MANY PEOPLE get stuck in that ride for HOURS IM NOT JOKING. I honestly only put this here bc my fam likes it :p) #4 Excalibur (Its fun, but I have been on better) #3 High Roller (I mean cmon that this is fast and fun. I would wait in a 30 min line for it) #2 Wild Thing (I feel like im flying and that is what I love about Roller Coasters) #1 Renegade (ITS SO FAST AND WILD. ITS THE BEST)
For me it goes 8. Cosmic Coaster 7. Mad Mouse 6. Corkscrew 5. Steel Venom 4 and under are (imo) way better than the previous coasters. 4. High Roller 3. Excalibur 2. Wild Thing And by a very long shot, 1. Renegade
I feel Valley, WOF and Dorney go hand and hand. They are smaller of the cedar fair parks and get less visitors within a comparison. They also all have a Morgan hyper and have 3 coasters they all rotate of. Valley fair has a GCI woodie and an intamin impulse to support the hyper, WOF has a GCI woodie and a B&M invert to support, and Dorney has a B&M invert and an intamin impulse to support. I would like to see a comparison of all 3
I’ve been to WOF, and I have a hard time deciding if I like Valleyfair or Worlds of Fun better, while they are very similar, they both have strengths and weaknesses, Worlds of Fun has a Patriot which I like better than Steel Venom, I slightly prefer Wild Thing over Mamba, and I like Renegade better than Prowler, but WOF has a wide array of good water rides and some cool flat rides.
I know that I'm in the vast minority, but Wild Thing is my favorite at Vallerfair (the smoothest Morgan/Arrow era hyper with solid floater). Renegade is paced very well and solid, but is typical GCI to me (Thunderhead, Kentucky Rumbler, Apocalypse etc etc). Excalibur (the very polarizing coaster) is my least favorite; I know that it have it's diehard fans.
So tomorrow I'm going to Valley fair. I'll be going with my step daughter my husband and my boytoy! I've never been on a roller coaster in my life! I'm 47. So I'm just going to do all of them and pray I don't die! Can't wait for the fun to begin!
Sadly can't agree on the number 1 placement. The Renegade is much... louder, compared to the other rollercoasters in the park. But hey, that's just me. *Sensory issues SUCK.* I ain't judgemental on interests unless it's something that's actually bad, this is fine. :>
I don’t like drops I’m just not a fan of them idk why but Renegade I would pay 100$ to go on that but not Mad mouse(I think I had a panic attack idk) and corkscrew( I had a headache)
Tbh, like it's my home park, but everything is sooo overrated/trash there... Renegade and SV are pretty much the only good coasters... like Ik Renegade is one of the best wooden coasters in the US by enthusiasts, and I agree with them, but besides those 2, everything else is trash.. we need to get rid of Excalibur and get an RMC Raptor or a B&M invert. We just need something new that our park doesn't have. Like a B&M invert would be the most ideal coaster.
I’m glad someone is showing my home park some love

I love Valley fair!! My favorite ride is wild thing!
Back row night ride on Renegade is one of the most insane things I’ve done
Too bad they close at 7 now and cannot have those enjoyable days at night 😔
I literally knew nothing big about valley fair so I watched the whole video lol
Me too, I only really know about coasters in my home state, California
Its really fun

I’d probably put High Roller above Excalibur and Corkscrew on my list, but Renegade is definitely number 1.
Excalibur for me would be the second lowest
@lil_Chief agreed
For terrifying wild thing wins maybe
@lil_Chief wild thing power tower and extreme thing combind

I've always enjoyed Corkscrew. I've never experienced headbanging that others talk about.

Been watching roller coaster vids lately. Man I miss roller coasters. Haven't been on one since like 2018.
Renegade is absolutely #1. Great wooden coaster and so, so smooth.

Excalibur the triangle airtime hill coaster looks better than wild thing in my opinion
