I believe he had his brain severed into two hemispheres, one plays the bass and the other plays guitar but I forget which plays which.... just Google it!
Charlie has been a favorite of mine since the 90's with Jay Lane and David Ellis. I bet youngsters will be like "Who dis' dude playing an Abasi guitar" :-) Thanks for getting some non-high-gain perspective on here Neural! I think your current products are awesome and your new stuff for 2021 will change the game...
Three years late, but my favorite envelope filter (that first guitar effect Charlie played with) is the DOD 440, specifically the green reissues. They're so musical right out the gate, and the range of sensitivities are prefect. So if any of you were looking for a real life place to start for that effect, that's a fantastic one
As a side note, these should really be listened to on headphones to capture the actual bass tones of the amp models. Mobile device speakers don’t ever do the bass side of Charlie’s guitar justice.

Wow, like eww this dude is beyond impressive and is unique as all fuck and It’s basically like Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel fused and then had baby with a Scofield/BootsyCollins fusion, Charlie is that magical music elf child hybrid baby, and Wes Montgomery was maybe his godfather or some shit, cos Charlie is simultaneously jazzy and somehow like displays hints and sounds of like all the genres. My ear picks up on so many undertones. Imma go watch Naruto, and train for awhile now. Ugh

That’s a hybrid guitar/bass... so literally a baritone guitar but with two different outputs, one for the bottom 3 strings and the other for the top 3 To my knowledge those are tuned BEADF#B
He's got a couple different hybrid guitars with different scale lengths in different tunings, but I think this one is all the way down to an F (almost an entire octave below E standard). I'm pretty sure it's an all 4ths tuning so each string ascends in pitch by a perfect 4th.
@TheClassicRKR agreed. I have every Neural plugin except Parallax which I don't really want or need. I ended up using Cory Wong last night on a project and it was perfect. I used the Clean Machine and automated the Big Rig Overdrive on and off for different sections, then ran to a Flanger effect which was automated on for a few sections, and then to the delay pedal in Archetype Plini for a few sections. Amazing range of tones and these Neural plugins have revolutionized my workflow. I can't wait until they finally make a component loader so I can have all of my purchased components in one UI. Now that the Quad Cortex is almost out I have a feeling the loader will come out soon. I can't wait to use Nameless and Plini effects in one window.
Are you kidding me? It costs less than single effects pedal and sounds really excellent. Clean tones are the hardest tone to get with amp modeling. If anything I think this company spends way too much R and D on metal tones, egads. Anyway, to each their own but this is good stuff and definitely a great value. I’m curious how far I can bend it with the nektar pacer midi pedalboard. Chop chop!
@TheClassicRKR I have demoed it, I liked the bass, not so sure about the guitar, did not like the higher gain sounds, just me though, Charlie sounds damn good on it! He liked the cleaner tones too. He got a great bass sound right away!

He posted tunings to IG the other day. G C F C F Bb, low to high. Like the bottom EAD of a bass, and the ADG of a guitar on the third fret.

I can't believe I waited months for something new and they released this. I can get better tones with any of the other plugins.
