- I like to call these players, Donut Brawlers or 360 Brawlers. It is a legitimate strategy in Interceptor, don't get me wrong. Just that it is a very annoying to deal with, especially when you picked a RWD car rather than AWD.

What are your annoying Interceptor/Hot Pursuit experience?
When the cop team keeps ramming to the rear end and to the side of yourcar, spamming spike strips or when you try avoiding them you somehow get spike striped

Me when I getting aggressive at players that they don't wanna race in hot pursuit, they scared like a little girl.
When you take a shortcut and the other guy uses jammer, turn around and haul absolute ass

They should add Rhinos, when the racer just does 360 all day in interceptor or any other battle mode, the game should spawn two Cayennes that will ram them straight head on and crash them for you so you can move in to make an arrest. Also I always love how they are soooo surprised everytime their bullsh*t tactics don't work and they lose and immediately leave the game. sad
Maybe more resources for pursuits like blocking a whole part of the map, the rhinos or call for more interceptors

Honestly this is why I just stopped playing the pursuit modes, it’s not really fun to play against this or even be the one playing this way.

There are no child or idiot can play like that changing the directions or get away from the hits and spikes and so on. As i told its not really fun every time because u just do ur best and its really tough , but its definitely not retarded like the ppl in the comments says. Of course i cant be sure in all the players , but the ones i meet were very challenging , and they were not just avoiding me but also smashing my car pretty easily . You need some skills to make that

@@surgut9954 All you need to do on controller is RT, Tap X and Turn Left or Right on the Left Joystick repeatedly. There is no skill compared to RT, LT, Turn Right, A, let go of LT, turn right, click LT again, and move to the right to go back to a straight line after being on a curvy road.

@@ElJansConJ I played this game since back in 2010. Amazing game and just to have it back as a side nfs in 2020, Ill take it! However, dont spend your money on it now, especially if you have hardship during pandemic. It adds to the stress. They poorly remastered it. People spawn on people in mw, connecting with certain players on each console disrupts the autolog causing traffic to pop up everywhere. It is insane rn. Buy it maybe after another patch comes out where they actually fix what they said they fixed in the first patch. NFS really just needs to drop EA. EA is taking a lot of big name games to the trash rn smh

Interceptor is so annoying unless you do it with a friend. People abuse shortcuts and turn around. I always avoid doing these online.

I will always say one thing to viewers like you. If you have not played this game for yourself, you should. You can view this game in his view and think that it is shitty or boring, simply because anything below exotics is slow and boring for most. The start was a "Super Car", second was "Exotics". Most players dont even play interceptor mode, they rather duke it out in 4v4 Most Wanted Mode. You should look into that mode and put your ass in the driving seat. You may even get a kick out of it.

Will it be ordered or unordered checkpoints? I’d say equally-spaced checkpoints across the whole map
Perhaps requiring the racer to travel X distance on the map every Y minutes?

Yea I noticed people doing that a lot when using the emp they just turn around so when they do it to me I turned around with them use my emp on them and when they turn around I turbo away
What's even worse is that he had a Jammer/Turbo play once he got some distance, between the dark and the rain it'd have been hard to catch him doing another 180 at a parking lot. But he didn't take it.
They should add a arrest system where if the racer is near enough to the cop while not on high speeds there will be a count down until the racer is arrested. But it needs two things:
1. The arresting diameter must be big enough so that the racer would be scared to slow down.
2. The arrest system is activated if the racer falls below a certain speed. So they'll have time to speed up and run but if they choose to fool around like this they'll get arrested anyways

This already exists in the game but you have to touch their car to trigger it first and foremost. It's centered around the area of the cops. Also, just get gud at crashing them(it's actually pretty easy). It's the easiest bust of your life if you do that. Also no for number 2.

This also happens with there's one last racer in hot pursuit mode and we all know its annoying! so I was in Speed enforment in a Reventon and the last guy was in a porsche 911 gt2 he was critical and it was 2v1 he wasted my spikes and EMP, when I try to get behind him and ram him he perfectly rammed me every time it took 11 minutes In time just to bust him. like damn its just a childhood game calm down you lost.

Sry to side with Toxic players here but that’s actually quite effective in Hot Pursuit if all cops are low Health and the Racer is at least half Health and the cops don’t have that many Powerups left.

Usually when racers start doing donuts in the shortcuts, I just stop and wait outside the shortcut until they're ready to play the game normally again.
After a few minutes they kind of get the point.

I never play like this online, the only techniques i use as racer during Interceptors are: Brake-Checking and pulling the Handbrake to avoid an EMP-Hit
There is a lot of people in NFS online community who likes to play unfair. Including speedlists in 2015 and payback,and that's really unfortunate for me. These types of players absolutely ruining expression and experience of online races :/
That's why I mainly play normal races in HPR Online.
If you play like those players please do us a favor and uninstall the game or play offline because those players is showing us how scared they are to lose
The most annoying players in Hot Pursuit Mode is the ones who turn around and drive the other way or stop the car

When playing a cop, stay behind the racer as much as possible, the more you go for a hit, the more theyll turn arpund
You can see their brake lights flash when they brake, simply brake with them.
Eventually the racer will try and spike you, dodge it and THEN go for the ram
If you want to keep up with them, learn how to 180 with them, on xbox, simply keep RT held down, hold x and turn to whatever direction until you have 180'd, wait for your speedometer to hit zero, and release x and your car will launch like a rocket
If you're behind them, and they turn around, track their movement and where they are going and punish them with a spike like the racer in the beginning tried to do
The true key to winning these interactions is knowing when to speed up and knowing when to slow down

Oh these are my favourite people to face since 90% of the time you can win any clashes with them if you just save up your nitrous for brawling.
Another useful tactic is to lead them to a narrow space where turning around is more difficult, it makes it more dangerous for them to do their little circles on you as they risk getting busted if they touch you and don’t get away from you in time. You can even use their circle against them by spiking them when they try to drive behind you.
As a cop you are completely free to crash out of their emps and take minor chip damage as opposed to emp damage.

One guy did this to me, he had graffiti cop agera and i had cop mclaren, he kept doing circles across gas station or whatever is it, repair shop or idk.. After 1 legit hour of trying to catch him, he had critical and left.. Dick..

When you try to EMP an online racer and you either get jammed or he just slam the brakes, or when you try to spike a racer / cop in the online mode and he brakes so hard that the spike strip becomes completely useless...
And let's also not forget about these stupid "soap racers"
Well the jam or braking to avoid Emps is reasonable. Emps deal way to much damage imo. But other than that it's just annoying.

Honestly the only time I went off-road (I was the racer in a McLaren MP4-12C) was to lose this really skilled driver behind the wheel of the Pagani Zonda Cinque police version. Me & him were evenly matched in skill on the track, so I took him into that large satellite field. Only difference is I didn't drop my speed of stop to play hide & seek, I just floored it, swerving between the satellites & sheds... unfortunately when I got back on the road he was right behind me again lol. We had used up our weaponry, & one more hit would've totalled my McLaren, causing me to lose. So near the finish line the road split into numerous lanes of traffic. I slowed to avoid traffic, but when I looked behind he was coming in fast for the final hit, so I swerved to the right & cut across four lanes of traffic at high speed...crossed the finish line in one piece. The overall chase lasted around 40 minutes...best race I've ever had in multiplayer on any racing game I've ever played... I'll never forget it nor how good he was

I remember stopping playing Multiplayer because of this. This is not only the case in interceptor but also in Hot pursuit. Everyone would do that, no racing.
Same, the sad thing is that the race mode isn't much fun either. Most people are either terrible drivers or play the game non stop and have a 20 second lead after like 2 miles into the race . And when you finally find some decent players the connection messes up or some random traffic bullshit takes you out of the race
You should be able to have ESF like in rivals, so you can stall their car for a limited time and bust them when they try a douchebag move like that lol

They could give the racer more turbos and jammers instead of having emps and spikestrips.
For this mode, I would add a new pursuit tech called a smoke screen for the racer to replace spikestrip
Giving the racer ways to attack would encourage this way to be played
For police, the backup pursuit tech police unit helps take down the suspect.
Also, here is a strategy count your opponents pursuit tech
They will always have the same amount as you have
Police
1 heli
2 Roadblocks
3 Spiketrips
4 Emps
Racer
1 turbo
2 Emp
3 Spriketrips
4 Jammers
Always count your opponents weapon, give you an advantage when to strike.
They will always have the same amount every new match.

Ugh this is just like camping in Call of Duty and Battlefield. I personally haven't played ANY sort of pvp since 2011 and wow this makes me cringe. How sad that these kinds of players still exist. I definitely would not play this game mode in this game's pvp...

The only NFS ive played online was Rivals, and there, this situation would be quickly resolved by stun mines and ESF. The whole dynamic of Rivals feels more natural than in HP (and its remakes), where cops arm themselves with ESF and stun mines or EMP, while racers use ESF (to counter EMP or to hit the cop) and stun mines (which is countered by the cops ESF but requires a bit of attention). Nobody i know used spike strips, roadblocks or helis - these just didnt work, especially in CQC, NFS style.
It may be annoying, but it works. That guy just sucks, but these are all valid tactics

I Noticed That Criterion Games Put a detail. If The Racer Gets Busted, The Racer Reacts To Getting Blocked After The Busted Text. Again Criterion Games Decided To Put A Detail In NFS Most Wanted That If The Busting Meter Goes Up, Our Character Reacts To It

It's quite the opposite actually. They just like the fighting style. Most of them that play this way are very skilled and know the staples of this game.

@@IsuckAtDriving that’s good. i saw the whole video and i applaud you for being able to handle them. and i don’t think it should be an issue/something for you to complain in the first place. that’s just my cup of tea. they’re not that annoying type of players, unless they have a 100% success rate (which is cheating, lol).
