When I play solo, I tend to play slowly at the beginning and accelerate more and more. That way, I avoid spawn kills a bit more, I let some teams having a fight and loose bars, and I know more or less where the action is. Then I accelerate a lot when there is an opportunity and try to bring a lot of chaos to disorient my adversaries (exploding barrels, trigger sound traps with silent weapons etc...) then I often go very close range when I feel them panicking. When they remain calm... I'm dead ! :D :D
triples vs solo are almost always overconfident especially at 5star + so once they know you are a solo they will normally try and hard push *iv found if you are playing NA they will also give away pos by shittalking a storm* you can use that to your advantage to bait them into traps and kill corners. also there is no such thing as "rat gameplay" as a solo so don't be afraid to back out a fight and reposition. play to win and let the groups seeth in the death screens. weaponwise if you don't/cant take quatermaster the lemat IMO is a top tier solo pistol as it allows you to cover mid range head taps and has a back up oh shit mode in the shotgun, or it lets you take flares to free up tool slots ect.
Thank you for this super useful guide, like all the others ! I tested the bow after seeing your guide on it and now that I'm comfortable with it I love this weapon. Recently for solo against trio I have been using it with two spark guns with incendiary ammunition and it is incredibly effective. Killing enemies from afar with the bow to greet them with sparks if they push is super fun. You can see hunters panicking about being silently hit by a bow and then ending up with 1 hp and on fire if they get too close. I definitely don't survive every time but I feel like I have the mental highground over them and I'm having a lot of fun.
I have to say i started playing Hunt like a few days ago and your videos are great for newbys too get a clue what to do and look out for TY for that ur helping very much
Tips from me, 1k hours. 1. Take Necro, serpent and magpie with your new hunter, costs 9 points. Grabs clues with serpent safely. Clues = more points to spend in the next round, doing it safely with serpent helps ensure the survive. You may also get a snag bounty too!. 2. Know your tools and consumables! I regularly remind myself what I have brought with me during a match. It's too late once the shit hits the fan, Know what you have before it does! Remind yourself of it during the match!. 3. If you do kill the boss early, consider holding it from outside the compound from the side closest to an exit. Snag it with serpent, and run. Or hold it from a direction where you think trouble will come from. Teams almost 100% don't expect it if you are sneaky enough. Often wiped a trio, duo or solo by doing this.
Well needed video. I've played on xbox(soon to move to PC) for about 100 hours so far and a lot of what you've said has helped me get more kills/wins as a solo. Thanks!
Great video! I’m an off and on player but I love videos like these to get back into the game also pure solo player here, I wish I could get more of my friends to play this game lol
Great video, thx. I play the game about 2 mounths now. ALmost exclusivly SOLO and especialy yours guides helping me to learn and be sometime succesfull. In most of my loses I immediately analyse what I did wrong and try to not repeat my mistakes in similiar scenarios. And truly I often die because the adrenalin rush and doing bad decisions. On of the best advice I have heard in some of your guide, was not to care too much to loose your hunter and money... Only deaths, that make me little angry are if you get insta kill in 20+ minutes without proper fight. Dont care too much about that hunter and equip, but the "waste" of time...
The Witness treat is huge as a solo. You can see dead zombies other players killed so even if they’re hiding or passed through you’ll know someone is close. Plus scavenger will let you loot the dead players for cash and witness shows them too.
@ I’ll also tell you my hearing isn’t great so it helps me figure out where a zombie or player died near me too. So I’m sure that would help people that don’t use a good headset too! Love your stuff man!
I always say playing a solo facing a 3 man squad as it’s a disadvantage will make you ten times better as if you’re in a team because you have to think better and clearer how to survive. It’s more challenging but more rewarding! You feel better when you survive against a 3 man squad. Being a solo will make you better at the game.
Another thing to consider in solo v 2 or 3s: In duos I have noticed there is a significantly higher chance that there will be at least 1 other solo in the match, sometimes many more. This can make things more complicated because a lot of solos in duos lean heavily into "rat" style play. In trios I tend to be the only solo much more often making it much easier to navigate the match.
Number 21: I stopped playing solo since the revive bolt came into the game. Its just too much of a pain as a solo to have duos or trios revive multiple times mid combat and mid movement while you as a solo can only revive once. I personally do not feel comfortable enough to play as a solo since then and prefer playing as duos or trios instead (if friends have time) or not playing at all.
Rev bolt needs a nerf or readjustment. And yet u still have players that play in teams complain that necro on solo is op. Pathetic, especially if you are 1v3 if you lose from the solo player its your skill problem. Like going 3 vs 1 isnt handicap enough.
I play solo only and tbh dont think its that big of a deal. I am still newbie in 2-3 stars lobby and I dont see it too often. I played few games with my friend, but he stop playing before even try to learn something. So I am stuck with myself, but I still have around 1,12 K/D and I am able to extract bounty pretty often. Never tried to play with randoms tho...
@@skoudouflis88 Yeah, sometimes I see people complain about solo necro and trait bonuses is op. Its seems really funy to me. Like, teams got 3x more revive oportunities. Atleast 2x more engels, fire power and equipment options variability. And you think its op to have 1 strong revive and few slight bonuses in other traits... 🤣😅
They are very problematic to deal with, unfortunately. I myself faced a 6* trio team yesterday, killed two in my first couple of shots and had to fall back to heal. They were all back up by the time my healing went through and I lost what would have most likely been a win. Felt bad :(
When they eventually fix in game proximity voice chat, diplomacy is also a way to survive as a solo. Its also useful when youre fighting a trio but the bounty is getting away from both of you
05:40 I agree on the Big Bars but i personally like to take two small chunks at the end because when you get downed they have to burn 125 instead of 100 HP and oit did save my bacon recently
Due to the current MMR system,it’s quite difficult for high rank solo to play aggressively. Most of the time during events I just “get a register and fvck off”
Dude, as a none native english speaker your pace is much to fast for this guide.. I watch it in 0,75 speed and still had trouble to get everything.. this speed in my opinion works well for Shorts but in longer Videos it is to much information.. this content could easily be 1 hour without being boring.. the guide although is really impressive.. thx and keep up your good work, you’re bowstyle is pretty inspiring…
I made my first 1000 kills solo, since I only played solo. After I started playing in 3 randoms, I noticed that I started playing worse, maybe because I started playing less often and my interest in the game faded.
I’m about 110 hrs in, I love the game and I’ve played majority solo, would you say that adrenaline rush is always bad or just in your experience, because me personally, I love the rush that hunt gives me and I feel like it gives me the itch to preform and stomp shit, and honestly I hope that doesn’t go away
Adrenaline rush is what makes you fall in love with a game. Getting over it is what makes you great at the game! I think the learning process and experiencing both is important. Enjoy it while it lasts, but try to work your way through it if you want to be truly great at the game later on! 💪
Can I ask why a lot of solo guides say that solos shouldn't rush boss? I'm not very good at the game and looking to improve, but I know the only times I escape with bounty are when I rush boss, trap out the compound, and make it away.
It is often much harder to be first at the lair and get pushed or surrounded by multiple teams. If you play a bit slower you can third party instead and pick off wounded enemies who may be low on tools and consumables. I covered this under the topic "third partying" in this guide! 💪
I love playing this game solo. I swear the player base has got better in the last few months though. My KD has dropped by like 0.3 and my hunt dollars have been slowly dropping.
I think they try to get the MMR to match but then they try to fill the slots. So if you go into a less active region or time you are more likely to find players not in your MMR range.
You talk about how you rarely get adrenaline rush from hunt now, do you still get a lot of enjoyment from the game in spite of that? I love the adrenaline, and fear if i lost that i would loose a lot of enjoyment in the game.
I do! I enjoy the tactical aspects that I benefit from when I am not freaking out. I do get adrenaline every once in a while and it’s exciting, but very rare!
I started playing regularly solo after 500hours, my tip would be : allways listen when you kill harmless player, don't loot too fast, be aware if other solos that are unpredictable...
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

This game is so Underrated. No game pumps the blood like this
True! 💪
No matter how much ive played this game it’s still such a rush when you first see a hunter in a match! Love it!
Well tbh, i feel like tarkov is way more pumping. So when i play hunt i dont have this rush when i see a hunter :D. But Hunt is excellent anyway.
New player here and you are right only dayz has made my heart pump more and that is a high bar to go over haha
No matter how much shooters play this game by far has the scariest gun sound the way it echoes sounds so unsettling compared to other shooters
