Black Disease All Over My Sweetcorn

After having my poly tunnel door closed for a couple of days I have found some kind of disease or black Mould on my Minipop sweetcorn, is it Black Fly Green Fly or a disease of some kind, In this video we will find out.

Hi Tony, it's a fungi caused by damp moist conditions. I think sweet corn should be grown outside, in group's in order for the wind to blow them and help pollinate them. Hope this helps. Thanks for sharing. Hi to Teddy.

Thank you shella, this particular variety of sweetcorn allegedly doesn't need pollination, however after opening one it seems it dose need pollination lol, next year I will be growing it outside, and teddy says hi

Yeah definitely black fly mate they came out of nowhere

Annie had a similar issue with some of here corn and I am sure she said it was blackfly damage. Let’s hope it’s not a disease that could decimate a huge crop 😢😢, Ali ☔️🇨🇦

I have come to the conclusion it is black fly Ali, I just hope it doesn't spread around the poly tunnel
