    The points you bring up, good or bad, will definitely help us or someone else someday. Good job

    To be honest, I much prefer hearing about the good and the bad from someone who has been doing whatever activity (in your case, living full time in an RV) to just watching a video of someone being all starry eyed about something they’ve just started. For one thing, if I’m considering doing a similar activity, it’s nice to know what types of problems or annoyances I might have to deal with (or want to try to avoid). But even more than that, it is just wonderful to see someone still loving something even when they’ve been doing it awhile, and in spite of the problems; I can’t think of a better endorsement of an activity than someone who still loves it after a year or more! Great video!

    New to this channel, I just started following a few days ago. Must say... love the content. I love the mix of educational videos as well as sharing your experience in the places you travel. I feel like you cover things some other people who do this full-time don't cover. Thank you. I appreciate that, and I look forward to your videos. ❤

    Your videos have made me give some additional thought to the size trailer I want to get. I am single and will be traveling, full time, with four cats. I was thinking that a 29 to 30 foot size would be what I needed, but you seem to be making it work, quite nicely, with a 25 footer.

      In addition to a smaller ORV like Ellen has, take a look at InTech's dual-axle trailers like the Terra models and the OVR. Even the larger of the two Terras is only 26' in length and they are shockingly roomy and spacious inside with no slides. I would also take a look at the Bigfoot 25' model as well. Either way, I think she has it right. If you are traveling alone or even as an occasional couple, ~25' is a wonderful length.

      @@thevagabondonwheels4918 Thanks! I'd love an ORV. They're so well made. I've been looking for an older one but, in my budget range, they are extremely scarce. I'll certainly check out your other recommendations. I really want the dual axles as I plan to be boondocking on BLM land quite a bit.

      Crossing my fingers one comes up in your budget! If you haven’t already, join the outdoors RV Owners Facebook group. You don’t have to be an owner, you can be someone looking for one and owners post trailers they want to sell there all the time. Plus the owners like to give other ORV fans the opportunity to buy it before they list it on RVtrader

    Really like your channel. BTW we have the exact same two looking cats. Grey and White Russian Blue and an all dark grey almost black with black whiskers and small white chest. We just did the factory tour of ORV this month and are planning on buying a 280KVS in a couple of years to travel full time. We noticed that your complaints were mainly about storage and full time living issues not actual physical failures or mechanical issues. Do you have anything that has failed causing you to reach out for service / repairs? It would be nice to see a follow up video covering actual problems you have had or not had compared to other trailers of this size.

      Thank you so much!! I LOVE that we both have Russian Blues!! They are so fun
      I have been very lucky that I have had next to nothing fail on my trailer, but I credit that more to ORV's build quality than luck. I've had very minor things happen inside, like a drawer track coming loose or a cabinet latch falling out.
      Outside I've had a few things. My axel bent sometime in the spring, so that had to be replaced. The oddest thing I've had is one of the arms on my awning has never fully aligned back into the holder. So it always sticks out a little bit. But besides those things, no major failures (besides the axel) that I've needed to bring in to a shop to fix.
      When you do get your trailer (which I'm so excited you chose an ORV!), there are definitely going to be kinks that'll be worked out- just small things, but that happens on all new trailers, like maybe a drawer wasn't screwed together completely. If you haven't done so already join the ORV owners facebook group so you can have a quick resource for fixing the small things that happen. You'll also see some of the things some new owners have run into so you can just get a general feel for what MIGHT happen.

    I’m having a hard time finding boondocking I can fit a 26ft RV! When I read iOverlander a lot of places require 4WD
    Yep gas is awful in the west! Cheapest I’ve found is 3.79!
    Lol same with my sensors too but mine is 20 years old

    How do you insulate your windows in winter an avoid condensation?

    • @boldlysheroams
      @boldlysheroams  11 месяцев назад

      My windows are double-pane so I really don’t have to insulate them, but the best way to avoid condensation is to crack a window or a roof vent to bring in some fresh air! It won’t bring in too much cold air but it’ll do wonders in keeping the condensation down

    1 thing I like about my orv is that the weather is getting cold and wet outside and I am neither inside 😊 1 dislike is the stereo system. It’s truly awful. Like, why even bother?

      Oh my gosh I completely agree. It's bad bad bad. The bluetooth on mine refuses to work, so if I want music through the speakers I have to keep my phone right by it and can't keep it on me. So annoying.
      Thanks for watching another one!

    What's the reason you can't change things about this trailer?

    • @boldlysheroams
      @boldlysheroams  11 месяцев назад

      The things that I talk about in this video are things that just how the trailer are, like the bedside tables or the windows. The bedside tables are the length that they are because the passthrough runs underneath, so there is no way I could take them out or do something different there and I can't make the windows any bigger or smaller than that are. Hopefully that makes sense :) Thanks so much for watching!
