Terrific presentation. Great insights into what punters should be thinking about when setting up a new bird room. When thinking about size, I've never heard any bird-keeper complaining that their bird room or aviary was too big. Thanks for sharing.

some smart birdroom Oliver! I have been doing same and opted for an Inkbird thermostat and huumidistat, it drives a tubular heater if it gets cold and a fan if it gets hot, all with wifi so you can monitor and adjust from anywhere!!!!!

I live in Norway and here we insulate our animal buildings, and our living quarters very well. In the ceiling we would use 30 cm of Rockwool, at least, and now the requirements for walls are about the same thickness. We also insulate the floors too, but mind you, we have a hardhet climate than you have during winter time that is. But I kid of envy you your space, shed and climate 😄😄😄. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to the next episode.
