    can i ask why you remove bail arm if you have a bait runner reel??

    • @fishandchill.
      @fishandchill.  11 месяцев назад

      To reduce the resistance the pike could feel. There more resistance the pike feels the higher the likeliness of it dropping the bait again. With the bail arm open there is basically no resistance, and the swingers keep the tension until the pike takes the bait

      I was using a running ledger rig, with a fox predator ledger stem and 2-3oz lead. 3lb test rod and size 5000 reels with 60lb braided line. Size 6 semi barbed trebles and a mackerel as bait. If you got any more questions feel free to ask!

      @fishandchill.  Год назад +1

      I don't think I can get a better position to be honest, if I would put it down more it would be even worse. Maybe I just have to learn holding the rod slightly different, but during a fish play I dont worry about how it looks on camera I just want the fish out haha

    Good way to keep Ur dead bait on use very small cableties on the tail U won't ever lose Ur bait 👌

    • @fishandchill.
      @fishandchill.  11 месяцев назад

      I usually use bait elastic which usually keeps the bait on, never heard of cable ties. Is it fish and environment friendly to use them?
