I appreciate the video. Seriously considering a small teardrop like this one. I went to the website and noticed that it is very customizable. Your video was helpful in the fact that you pointed out the main features and WHY they are helpful to you. Thanks!
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any help you can give me
@Israel Shiloh I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks for a great video! I've "built" countless Escapods, as well as pretty much any other brand that has online configuration, over the last 6 months. You're video has inspired me to pull the trigger on the Escapod but now, damn you, I have to add the upgraded suspension! Thanks :)
@@offgridexploring Just put the deposit down today so I've got a 12 month wait but definitely planning on a rental this summer. Possibly for the MTN West Overland Expo in Loveland. :D
great video , but you know even with the hitch taken off you can use the chains on it to hook it up to a ball mount and off you go . always use removeable chains .
Just a heads up...you may be able to remove the trailer tongue but if you don't lock your safety chains up tight a bad guy could back up to it, hook/wrap the chains to his bumper and yank you down the road. With increased popularity and increased value to these units so too follows increased attention from those bad guys.
Do you think that living in one of these would be possible? Even in winter? Planning on building one of these for more of a minimalistic outlook on things. Thank you
Thanks CJ for showing us around! I recently signed a purchase agreement with Escapod, hope the next 10-11 months go by fast lol! Have you had any issues with alignment and the upgraded suspension?
Its in our latest video, but essentially it didn't fit in the garage opening and we had to remove it each time we stored the trailer and well, that got old fast!
I rented one in September and loved it! I"m happy you like the suspension and front box. What are the dimensions of the driver side of the box, including the size of the opening? I wonder if it will fit my Iceco vl45. Please keep your Escapod videos coming!
Now that it’s been about a year.. how’s your experience with it now? Any long terms opinions? I’m wanting this badly, the alternatives were Nucamp Tag or Meaner Bean, maybe even timberleaf
Love the video, im considering a Bean trailer, how does this compare to Bean? I like the idea of the one piece shell of the Bean. I love both trailers and am having a hard time deciding. Any thoughts on how the Escapod is better than the Bean?? Thx :)
..I didn’t. I preferred the independent suspension that Escapod was offering. It is very similar to that of Australian based companies that have been very successful. So far I have really liked the way it handles off road and absorbs every bump.
@@jeroengrobben7555 you need more than 2 batteries to wire them in series, regardless of which type they are. If you only have 2, you can only wire them in parallel. Look it up.

I've watched this video 5 times. I'm wanting one of these bad. Best looking teardrop for the price that I've seen so far.
Awesome! Its really well made, so far so good!
What’s the cost?

Great video. Quite helpful as I'm contemplating a setup for two adults and three children.
Awesome to hear! Thanks for the watch and check out our podcast, CJ recently talked about the pros/cons of the family using a teardrop trailer!
Ok so it was the German Shorthair Pointer that got me...favorite breed next to Bluetick :)
That’s Hank! He’s our camping buddy, for him that means fetch NON STOP
It’s so nice seeing more Escapod videos. I loved the overview and can not wait to see more. I'm getting the same trailer and colorway as you in June.
Nice! They are REALLY well made and you wont be disappointed. Also, your getting it just in time for a great summer!

Great detailed video brother.

Wow great trailer ! Love the channel. 100% my kind of stuff. New suber here !

I’ve had my eye on their trailers for awhile now. Thanks for the video! Curious, why did u put the RTT on the truck opposed to the trailer.

I don’t know if any one is better than the other, they are both pretty highly rated. Probably comes to budget and features

Pretty sure you meant the batteries are wired in parallel, not series, since there's only 2 batteries.
Ahh, good catch!
@@offgridexploring Those are 6v batteries. So two of them in series gets you 12 volts.
Those are golf cart batteries. ( GC2-ECL-UTL )

None of you Cal Worthington a mention the price.
Super nice...that's an easy $30k for that trailer.
Agreed, yet base price is under $20k!
This one was actually a few grand less than 30K. If you limit a few upgrades this can be had in the low 20's too.
you're approved...sign here......here....here.....extended warranty fee.....here....here.
No loans here, but you are right
Get a sock for your microphone please
Pffft...I could build that trailer for half the price.
As does Escapod, then you have to sell it for a profit.🤦🏻♂️
Well, get building and clear hundreds of thousands this year, all the builders are at a 12 month waitlist.
