Yeah. It's eventually all going to turn into Neumorphism, which consists in minimalistic and 3D objects with shadows being emphasized to give a feeling of depth or relief. So, it's basically Skeuomorphism, but instead of focusing on reflections and lights you focus on shadows and dimension. Also, a lot of characteristics from Flat/Material design will be implemented, but this time, with rounded edges.
Edit: Another thing in my opinion is the only icon that looks better is the mail icon for Windows In my opinion, iOS 17’s look more roundish and bigger, so you can see it better. Another thing in my opinion is iOS 17’s wallpaper looks better. ⚠️Remember, this is. just my opinion.⚠️

The old icons were better than the current ones. For some reason, I am more attracted to skeuomorphism than to neomorphism.
