I ordered her on Mattel Creations. They said will ship in December , like 2 months after, I ipurchased her on the drop date . My partner got her for me . Said we dont have money for Draculara who is now 137.00 on Amazon. I did order Frankie Stitched up . She does look pretty, Melony . I really liked your review , Best .
I think much of the resentment comes from the fact that Mattel made one good step for with Vampire Heart Draculaura. A doll with that fits the aesthetic of MH(keep in mind people still had issues with her from the USA Amazon exclusivity, to her price, to the way how inbox collectors had their displays ruined, etc), then they come up with the $150+ collaboration luxury dolls with fashions that don't exactly fit the usual MH aesthetic if that makes sense and took two steps backwards. It's exhausting too I imagine(especially with the nightmare before Christmas mh dolls coming up), it doesn't give MH collectors time to financially recover. I can acknowledge that the dolls are good quality but I can't say that fashion just vibes with me. When I first saw the dolls, my first thought was tumblr fashion if it was high brand which is crazy because I never grew up with Tumblr lol. Honestly I feel like Mattel really only collaborated with off-white due to the luxury of it instead looking for a brand that could've meshed well with MH(I don't know any brand names tho). MGA imo has done a much better job with their Bratz collaborations and Mattel should definitely take some notes from them. From the price, to the fashion, and box presentation I have to say that I feel very underwhelmed by these dolls(and I'm being honest I don't even feel nothing about them they're just that meh), especially for a 150+ price point. They have some cool ideas no doubt but there's so much left to be desired imo. Imo the off-white collaboration should've been reserved for Barbie, I think more people would've appreciated them more than they were in MH dolls(ot maybe they do idk I've never heard of off-white in my life until now tbh😭 yes I used to live under a rock). At the end of the day, this is my opinion so don't mind my ranting here and enjoy the dolls if you like them💁🏻♀️ literally ain't here to judge. Shes very pretty with the fall colors the dress is really Metropolitan design this will be appreciated by you so this is a good reason to adore the doll. The ear sculpt is why she looks like another monster than the werecats but Purrsephone does have the darker hair color.

That price point can’t be escaped, I’ve paid that much for 17” Disney Princess dolls that come dressed in multi layered embroidered ball gowns. A plain black mini dress on a doll with a slightly elevated appearance of Lagoona’s dawn of the dance doll is just so dissatisfying. Mattel is really clowning us with this line.

I debated for soooo long when I saw her on Mattel creation but in Cad $ she was like 250$ it was CRAZY… I was mad at this price point it’s kind of insulting… I do regret that I won’t have her in my collection but I could not afford 1k total for the whole set it’s just too crazy… I chose reason over my feelings… 😓😭

I like the one that has the transparent skull the green on idk her name that one id get if mattel does sell them. This doll is meh for me. I only like the fish bag shoes and the tattoo. The other dolls are cooler but I don't think I can afford them all. Or possibly AT all.
The dolls are nice, but I have always thought that high-end designer clothes, shoes, bags, etc. were for the very rich or people trying to appear very rich. The same can be said for these, except with a doll you can't even wear it out in public to show it off. It's only social media people who are both Monster High and Off White fans who might be impressed. Not that I think you should be spending money to try to impress people, but if that is your thing, this is probably not the place to spend your money. Doll prices in general are irrational once you start looking at the secondary market, in which $150 is not that much for a doll that is desirable to collectors. The one doll of this series that could be worth $150 is the transparent one because of that unique feature. She is a bit creepy to me, however.

Lagoona’s face looks beautiful and I adore her make up. She is so gorgeous, really like everything about the doll.
