I sure am glad to know that I am not the ONLY ONE to wear Crocs when working with my tractor and such!!! As you say, "Crocs for safety!" LOL I have even been known to wear Crocs when running my traplines in November and December!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Pond area is looking nice, entrance to field also looked inviting. Looking forward to seeing your project take form. Glad to hear about stepping the fill in. Every time I see someone working with mud on a hillside I’m always reminded of an incident that happened south of where I grew up when I was much younger. It was a rainy spring morning, the farmer up on the hill had just finished planting his field a little before the rain started. The field got so wet that the entire field collapsed and slid off into the valley below. Several houses were nearly buried in about 30’ of mud. The entire valley was a written off by the insurance companies and even the town abandoned the roads. It was abandoned by everyone except one family that was under insured and couldn’t afford to relocate. There were fundraisers to help them and a local contracting company donated an excavator and a dump truck. Last I heard the single family was left digging out and selling the topsoil that filled the area off one load at a time to help cover the cost to operate the truck and excavator. Never heard if they ever accomplished anything, for all I know +30 years later, they might still be digging out. Wishing you and your family the best.
You have accomplished so much with the little tractor and it still contributes as part of your equipment fleet. As you upgrade the backhoe with a thumb and continue to restore the machine you will complete more but you will complete it with a stronger and safer piece of equipment. New campaign for the 555 "Kill the Rust" Be safe I enjoy your channel. Can the 555 drive over your bridge?
Geez you drag level machine works almost as good as the ruckus rake, and your park is looking so Amazing with your Beautiful pond in the Background, that will raise your property another hundred thousand, I’m telling you Mike, I’m so proud of what you’re doing to your farm, it is simply Beautiful, good job Mike❤
One pass at a time, you're getting there, Captain ! Having a flat area in front of your house will be excellent, but it will take a few bucks to make it happen..... you could use the 555, but that would take a long, long time to move the quantity you need....😮 but no doubt it could do the job 💪💪💪 Good to see your eldest helping out, is she stick picking for pocket money ? Pond park is on the final straight too 👍😁
Do another aerial view when you get a chance. Will help us see how all the improvements are connected together from the house, chicken house, main field, pond, etc. It is looking good.
We had a 560 International... tractor... and put at the time. Rice & Cain tire's off of a Combine...this was in the late 70s... Worked Great... very deep lugs. Good luck
I love these backhoe videos, they’ll never get old. They show that you don’t have to own new fancy equipment to get a lot done. After watching all the hard work you put into saving the old girl, it’s awesome to see it pay off.
Man the triple nickel just continues to prove it's worth and that all the time effort and cash you spent were worth it. Really love seeing you get to develop the property and get things how you want them. Looking good!
The old timers would have done this with help from animals and by hand, imagine how long it would take, that backhoe is so efficient. Great job Captain..
Got a lot done despite the moisture. Looking really good. Glad that there is a thumb in the works for the back hoe. A mechanical thumb is better than none and you can always scavenge the hydraulics to convert it later. Thanks for sharing.
This is a fun series to watch, get wheat your plans, get to see those plans develop, and get to see the end product at finish and as it matures over time. The triple Nickel still continues to impress me, it just starts, runs, and performs, what more can you ask for. Thanks for the update sir.
your really getting the hang of the 555, it's like having a skid steer and mini trackhoe all in one, the project is shaping up really nicely, great video 👏👏👏👍👍👍👌
Captain, to bad there's no way tohookup Mike's rukus rake to the 755. Oh well,ya did a really bang up job putting down that top soil and spreading it out. Ihope you gave you daughter a nice allowance for the work. It's amazing how much she's grown since your channel came online.
Mike, that backhoe is such a great addition to your homestead capabilities. You did solid work repairing it! Love watching you videos. Great that @C_CEQUIPMENT was able to help you getting that machine. Maybe Clint has some miscellaneous bucket-teeth that have no purpose you could weld on the front bucket?
Hello Mike. It's always a fun time visiting the homestead and watching the dual-purpose videos. Along with the youtube yacht(s), some folks may like to have a campground to kind of ruff it a little. Have good days!
Thumb on a backhoe =wheelie time!! 😂. Just teasing. They work but it will definitely lighten up the front end. You can counter it with more weight though.
Cap’n you keep making improvements and… I won’t recognize the place the next time I come. You’ll have to give me another guided tour! Once that grass sprouts… the view from the bell tower is gonna be spectacular. And that scenic overlook of the river is priceless! Keep on pecking away at it… you’re carving out a piece of heaven!
yes your broadcast seeder is over there in the thingy > you know over there >>>>> I see you put it there when you cleaned the garage out ALSO it would cool to add a crap ton of beach sand to make a beach on your pond
A thumb is a great addition!! It looked like the first tree you dropped was a Birch not Maple lol we have them up here in Michigan all over. I bet you love having that backhoe. Keep up the good work Mike. It looks like Dirt Perfect is missing you!! I’m not sure but looks like millennial left and man behind the seems is only left!!
I’m sure that you know Captain but those lines 3:15 need replacing soon before they rupture under a load and spray you with hydraulic fluid. I can’t get over the amount of work and just how well it looks that you’re able to accomplish with the 555 & 755. Your drive and determination are the key to success obviously 🙄. Stay safe Mike.
Hi Mike...Trevor from Queensland, Australia. Great videos...keep them coming. I am worried that you are going to snag that dangling hydraulic hose that feeds the backhoe bucket cylinder. Is there any reason why you can't attach/zip-tie it along the barrel of the cylinder, not only to protect it from getting snagged, but also to protect the hose from fraying where it meets the fitting, and to help protect the fitting from getting damaged/broken if the hose does get snagged. I don't want to sound picky....just a suggestion !! All the best to you and family. Cheers...Trev.
Well my last day of working on the house project was hot! But I got it on video! lol. That field is going to shape up really nicely for you! Fine work as always.
Hi Mike great progress, well done and good viewing. That old 555 is really earning its keep now ;) Why does it still have those dangling hoses ? They do look a bit vulnerable ;) But what do I know! Lol Keep up the great work.
Thank you for stop yanking on the 755 and using the chain saw. I had just muttered “c’mon Captain, that’s an Andrew Camarata signature move …”. Loved seeing your stick picker upper doing things that allowed you to not stop as often. Everything she did however small or large was something you didn’t have to. The biggest value is what she carries forward t9 use in life. My kids are grown but when they were younger, we introduced them to two things to add value and goodwill for future requests. 1. Do some things requested of you without expecting an immediate payoff. You can ask but be mindful that your payment might be much bigger later when asking for something that might otherwise have to be a “no”. You won’t get paid twice. 2. Do little unsolicited things to help out in order to show that you are thinking even when we don’t spoon feed you your next moves. This illustrates responsibility and builds trust in your character…for when you ask for an exception to the general rule or a special privilege (not every “no” is tied to financial reasons). I like your dirt moving/repurposing project …a lot. Here’s to hoping that the underground rock will accommodate. Huge props on utilizing every pass to drag to smooth out crusty areas …getting full value out of your time and fuel.
I love your videos Mike. You are doing some great projects. I’m very happy I found your channel. What is your daughters name? She is a great help to you and is doing very good on the tractor.🥰🥰🥰🥰 I hope you are pay8 g her a good amount so that she can get her ..
It’s nice seeing you using the backhoe as bad as you needed this piece of equipment on your homestead Mike, sure saves you a lot of back breaking work brother! Hey Mike, is that maple tree any good for firewood or anything my friend? Just wondering! I know you said your frame on the hoe needs to be repaired I was wondering if you’re going to wait for cooler weather to take on that project, I know you’re trying to do as much as possible on the property? Just wondering again! lol 😂 😂
I sure am glad to know that I am not the ONLY ONE to wear Crocs when working with my tractor and such!!! As you say, "Crocs for safety!" LOL
I have even been known to wear Crocs when running my traplines in November and December!
They are comfortable!
I'm always amazed that that old canoe has survived so many fallen trees and Kleeman maneuvering over so many months. Skill or Hoosier luck??? lol
Lol a little of both probably
That's funny I think the same thing everytime he passes it
All I could think of when you knocked that maple tree down was that you have another stump to add to your collection. 😅
Lol very true
Who needs a Harley Rake when you have a Kleeman Rake and a great Tree Picker Upper? Thank you to you both, really turned out nice.
Well, I would still like a Harley rake lol
These old machines make life easier. Gradually making a change - pond area looking good .

That's wild! Where did that happen? I would love to look up the story
@@CaptainKleeman I was just a kid but I think it was south of Syracuse NY.
555 is sure working hard. Great investment of your time.
No doubt!
Wow, did you see the Bigfoot at 24:30 run out of the trees. Much more pretty than I've seen before.
Mike wish I could find one of those stick pickers. Mine is old and out of the nest for years.😮
Maybe they will let you borrow their stick picker upper some time
You’re building your own little Machu Picchu on top of the mountain
Wow mike that old ford is nice to have
Definitely handy

Can the 555 drive over your bridge?
It cannot unfortunately. Too heavy
Still ‘ere, Cap’n. Still genius.
💪

I smiled so big when you were stacking those logs with the forks :D Dropped one, danggit, one is sideways, fix it, fix it! Nailed it
🤣 always seems to work that way
Looks like the 555 is earning its keep after all of the hard work during the winter.
Every little bit done is closer to your goal!
Looking good! That backhoe has really turned into a fine piece of equipment for you.
You && that D10 John Deere LOL
Lol
Great to see the Progress and wonderful that your daughter is helping , lol wait till she has a pond party with her friends lol Worth it all the way
One pass at a time, you're getting there, Captain !

Pond park is on the final straight too 👍😁
She gets paid, if im making money then she is too lol
Can't wait to see the thumb. 👍
Do another aerial view when you get a chance. Will help us see how all the improvements are connected together from the house, chicken house, main field, pond, etc.
It is looking good.
Love seeing the triple nickel in the dirt. Looking good Mike and love the videos. Keep the kiddos working, it’s good for them. 😂
We had a 560 International... tractor... and put at the time. Rice & Cain tire's off of a Combine...this was in the late 70s... Worked Great... very deep lugs. Good luck
That would be awesome
I love these backhoe videos, they’ll never get old. They show that you don’t have to own new fancy equipment to get a lot done. After watching all the hard work you put into saving the old girl, it’s awesome to see it pay off.
Man the triple nickel just continues to prove it's worth and that all the time effort and cash you spent were worth it. Really love seeing you get to develop the property and get things how you want them. Looking good!
Maybe you could weld up a big screen to filter out the rocks, sticks and pieces of bent metal from buckets of top soil?
Purty handy ta have a Pro Fesional Stick Picker Upper! You've probably noticed that they cause the grocer costs to climb!!! 🤪
🤣
I like how you’ve turned chaos into something workable. It’s going to look amazing when you’re done
I was wondering if a tiller attachment would be a good addition for the 755. Great video. Stay safe
hello mike it's randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
Thanks Randy
17:02 I think it would be kinda cool content if you got a remote controlled toy boat and had the pond dye drip into the pond as you drove it around.
Iam so impressed with the 755 and the road drag can do and of course the operator makes it happen nice work captain 👋👍🇨🇦
It's a good machine for sure
It keeps looking better and better
The old timers would have done this with help from animals and by hand, imagine how long it would take, that backhoe is so efficient. Great job Captain..
I remember my flint axe and my favorite prying stick good times
Great video Mike, ole Bones deserves a thumb and so do you my friend 👍
Captain I love the random stop sign in the woods wouldn't expect anything different from u
Taking shape ! It's lucky you found a pro stick picker upper, usually hard to find !
Got a lot done despite the moisture. Looking really good. Glad that there is a thumb in the works for the back hoe. A mechanical thumb is better than none and you can always scavenge the hydraulics to convert it later. Thanks for sharing.

They do make a three point version
You keep it up you will have your place looking better than a state park with a great view of the river indeed LT !
Great to see the kids helping out with the work, can't imagine what the new project will be.
You sir have absolutely the best and most interesting camera placement. I really enjoy the different and interesting views. Good job and keep it up!

Good job, professional stickpickerupperthrowerinthewooder! :)
No wasted moves, nice🫡
You certainly had an experience getting the 555 up and running, but it looks like she is serving you well! Good job!
Hello Mike. It's always a fun time visiting the homestead and watching the dual-purpose videos. Along with the youtube yacht(s), some folks may like to have a campground to kind of ruff it a little. Have good days!
Great seeing you already using the utility trailer 👍

You’re making good progress, Mike! Nice to have both the 555 and 755 to get the job done!

Following Morning, nice view with the fog rolling in like that. :)
Hi captain Mike great video
Time to pick on you with all the digging and no silver spoons yet haha 😂😆
One of the good things about dragging the branches it helps smooth out your access roads
Very true lol
Some really nice progress Mike. It's all coming together for you.
Thanks!
Hey congrats on the thumb coming ,peace Mike..!
Get the churt mine ready for the new road!
You are getting there Mike, slowly, slowly catch the monkey.

They get replaced when they burst lol

The lines help drive comments 🤣
Is coming along great with no time and good weather you will have it done love your videos 😊
Getting closer
A cup holder on the 755? isnt that getting to be just a tad too much luxury ?? ;)
Nice work. The goal is in sight!
Getting close!
Howdy Captain
Well my last day of working on the house project was hot! But I got it on video! lol. That field is going to shape up really nicely for you! Fine work as always.
The outros are getting lit!
it would be a better push if you dump the dirt each time that way you can have a empty bucket to fill it up with dirt and move more dirt in a push
I need the weight to keep the bucket down
true
Looking forward to see what brand of thumb you are installing. I have a NH 555e and i need to add a thumb as well. Great video as always Kleeman
The same company that sent the fuel tank is sending one. Vevor. Curious to see the quality of it when I get it.
Hi Mike great progress, well done and good viewing.
That old 555 is really earning its keep now ;)
Why does it still have those dangling hoses ? They do look a bit vulnerable ;)
But what do I know! Lol
Keep up the great work.
I believe they have to have that slack on it for the extend a hoe
They are needed when he uses the extend-a-hoe feature.
Thanks, didn’t know that ;)

Thanks!
Cool job 😁😁👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Looking good.
Shaping up nicely
Looks good. Starting to shape up. Thanks for the video.
I love your videos Mike. You are doing some great projects. I’m very happy I found your channel. What is your daughters name? She is a great help to you and is doing very good on the tractor.🥰🥰🥰🥰 I hope you are pay8 g her a good amount so that she can get her ..
Awesome video! Getting things done!😊
Thumb will increase your productivity and reduce hours (less fuel burn and wear on the old girl)
It’s nice seeing you using the backhoe as bad as you needed this piece of equipment on your homestead Mike, sure saves you a lot of back breaking work brother! Hey Mike, is that maple tree any good for firewood or anything my friend? Just wondering! It does okay. I've been collecting the bigger logs for the firewood processor
Good job guys
I have yet to see you use the chokers I sent you. They work really well dragging logs and stumps.
