A reading of the Jeff the Killer creepypasta while "CRAZY HAMBURGERRRR" vid is playing made this stream extraordinary to be a part of (excited for pastra's vid btw)
In regards to the shared universe concept in the Creepypasta fandom: I definitely think Pastra's idea for a Stephen King type story is very cool and would make for a really good scary story, but the fandom interpretation of all of these killers living in a mansion in the woods like some kind of reality TV show is so funny and I absolutely adore it!
The creepypasta mansion... DAMN that takes me back! I kinda miss it. It was a fun, silly side of the fandom. The best stuff were any meme/sh*tpost quizzes and crackhead fics. So good. 😂😊
Because I’m such a MLP head, I wanna also briefly mention that Jeff was often paired up with “Pinkamina Diane Pie”, the “evil” version of one of the main characters in my Little Pony “Pinkie Pie.” In canon Pinkamina Diane Pie is just Pinkie’s full name and her design is just Pinkie with flat hair and depression. But the episode “Pinkamina” first appeared in (“Party of One”) inspired the grimdark Creepypasta “Cupcakes” where Pinkie/Pinkamina kidnaps one of her friends (Rainbow Dash) and tortures her and the story ends with RD’s uh..innerds being turned into cupcake ingredients. Pinkamina even has a catchphrase in the story “Life is a party”. Pinkamina (as well as the story) got so popular in the MLP fandom that she actually managed to crossover into the general Creepypasta fandom and that’s how she started getting parked up with Jeff. They’re either seen as rivals or besties…..or lovers.

1:31:40 Oh gods, the Slender Mansion... that makes me recall a memory from when I was in primary school (equivalent to middle school), a girl who told me she could visit the Slender Mansion in her dreams and talk with all the Creepypastas there. She offered to invite me and I was like "wow that would be cool" so I agreed. And then that night, I guess my brain decided to play along, because I had a dream where I met Slenderman and he brought me to his mansion. I never talked about it with anyone because rationally I knew it was bullshit, but it was fun to imagine that every night I was visiting these guys and just chilling with them. Also it probably helped me deal with how scary I thought they were; I didn't need to fear them because they wouldn't hurt me, since I was their friend! This also led me to read a bunch of Wattpad stories of proxies so I could learn more about them. I think my favourite was Eyeless Jack.
1:28:54 as a fan of undertake just hearing this gives me flashbacks to the cringey creations and I can only imagine what it was like reading these crappypastas
I think one of the best ways I’ve seen a creepypasta shared universe sort of work is through the idea that it’s the fear and obsessing over a creepypasta (and i guess the copypasta aspect) that enables their continuous existience.
Man, I remember this guy called Jordan Persegati here on RUclips who drew creepypastas and told their stories. That was my only exposure to creepypastas and I remember staying up late into the night just listening to those stories until it felt like the shadows themselves would jump out and attack me. I also remember Smile Dog, the only creepypasta I found genuinely horrifying. Thanks for the many nightmares, Smile Dog.
Holy shit, I still can’t look at the Smile Dog image without wanting to throw up. I have no idea why it gets such a visceral reaction from me, literally nothing else does that. But Smile Dog just fucks me up for some reason.
love that Jeff the Killer's origin story is feeling horny, getting bullied, stabbing two of them and going to school and feeling more horny, getting his brother arrested and almost shot, emotional neglect from his parents...going to some random party while depressed (emo) meeting his bullies there for no reason (???) they fight like literal delinquents and nearly kill each other and Jeff decides to get horny and attempt murder (literally killing Randy) and this just keeps escalating til he's mutilated and a straight up full on murderer....like bro be buzzin

I don't understand how Jeff the Killer became the Sonic the Hedgehog of creating OCs based off of him for non-Sonic fans.
ok, i know the joke is that jeff would never have a girlfriend, and he wouldn't, but lets be realistic. every single jeff the killer fangirl oc is so overpowered that i think he might find it genuinely cool to have a harem of evil op ladies do his bidding. i know i'd love that.

@@99morphinesonic exe also has a ton of fan retakes and inspired a ton of sonic creepypasta characters and stories It’s worth checking out, some of these are actually good
The Jeff The Killer OC rabbithole reminds me of the Undertale AU community. The Undertale community in general has people convincing themselves thst fan additions are canon, but the OCs fanfic network of OCs being made to interact with other OCs is the same thing basically, except with the multiverse involved. Which, I'm told, was also the main basis of the Onceler fandom beyond the initial selfcest pairing. But as I mentioned it also reminds me of the Undertale fandom in general and there's arguments about what is fanon and what is canon, and canon is a term we invented because of similar arguments regarding religion, more specifically christianity. The modern depiction of both hell and lucifer are based on fanfiction, that being dante's inferno and paradise lost. Which goes to show that religion and mythology is just a big web of fanfiction that becomes considered canon with time and popularity. Its all a game of telephone but with people intentionally changing stuff to add OCs or headcanons. As another commenter pointed out, this is also the entire basis of Arthurian Legend. And i've seen people make comparisons between fandom and religion plenty of times, notably, someone once said that people argue over star wars canon down to the smallest details as special editions or original edition, and they treat it the same way different denominations of Christianity treat the different versions of the Bible that exist. And I can see exactly what they mean by that and they have a point The thing is though, is that the internet allows thrse things, like Creepypasta OCs, and AU versions of characters, to happen much faster and without being nearly as limited by geographical concerns. It's like a sped up, but less mainstream, version of that phenomenon. People say comics are the modern american mythology or whatever, and its kinda true, but this is how it really works, because this is entirely in the hands of the people and there is no true canon. In conclusion, Jeffrey Woods is Sans Undertale who is also Jesus Christ, none of which actually have those last names by the way. Thanks for reading. Edit: they mentioned Undertale briefly in the video but that was about Sans fangirls, which weren't nearly as common as people make them out to be compared to AU Sanses. And also not relevant to my point.
its really funny to me that Jeff started out as an oc persona wutever for a roleplayer on Newgrounds and then yea FNF being so balls deep in NG culture and essentially is a big fat homage to it

“Welcome to Creepypasta Catastrophe!”
@@randomisonline I always did like the sillier side of the fandom as a kid. I was never really looking for anything genuinely scary lol
@@msgen02
Same here! I loved the interpretations of the characters that just made them goofballs that happen to kill people sometimes XD
The creepypasta mansion... DAMN that takes me back! I kinda miss it. It was a fun, silly side of the fandom. The best stuff were any meme/sh*tpost quizzes and crackhead fics. So good. 😂😊
@@TheSimplePerson "Creepypasta Catastrophe is filmed in front of a live studio audience."
Because I’m such a MLP head, I wanna also briefly mention that Jeff was often paired up with “Pinkamina Diane Pie”, the “evil” version of one of the main characters in my Little Pony “Pinkie Pie.”
In canon Pinkamina Diane Pie is just Pinkie’s full name and her design is just Pinkie with flat hair and depression.
I genuinely loved this stream
From pastra’s mental breakdown from jeff the killer brainrot

A Mansion of Slenderman and The Proxys FEELS LIKE A GOOD CONCEPT FOR THE CREEPYPASTA UNIVERSE.. 😭🙏😭🙏

I did not expect this video to be Pastra infodumping about Jeff the Killer for an hour but I'm not disappointed.
I think one of the best ways I’ve seen a creepypasta shared universe sort of work is through the idea that it’s the fear and obsessing over a creepypasta (and i guess the copypasta aspect) that enables their continuous existience.
One time I was sorting my music and accidentally set 1000+ songs to have Jeff the Killer anime fanart as the album art
Absolutely loved Pastra's Jeff presentation. I need more of that shid, genuinely.
Randomly hearing madame macabre at the end of the stream surprised me so much, I still listen to her music to this day

love that Jeff the Killer's origin story is feeling horny, getting bullied, stabbing two of them and going to school and feeling more horny, getting his brother arrested and almost shot, emotional neglect from his parents...going to some random party while depressed (emo) meeting his bullies there for no reason (???) they fight like literal delinquents and nearly kill each other and Jeff decides to get horny and attempt murder (literally killing Randy) and this just keeps escalating til he's mutilated and a straight up full on murderer....like bro be buzzin

the Jeff The Kill!! The Jeff The Kill is real
Thank you Jeff The Killer for making Pastra
I think that newly found image of Jeff the Killer is honestly scarier than the image synonymous with Jeff the Killer.
The 2020s to me have been me questioning "why did people enjoy this to begin with?"
I don't understand how Jeff the Killer became the Sonic the Hedgehog of creating OCs based off of him for non-Sonic fans.
I honestly find it so dumb. He's literally just the Joker, but if he was an edgy emo teenager.
Edgy teens, are not known for originality.
Not usually unless the teen turns out to be legit creative and stuff
The og Jeff doesn't even have a nose lmao
ok, i know the joke is that jeff would never have a girlfriend, and he wouldn't, but lets be realistic. every single jeff the killer fangirl oc is so overpowered that i think he might find it genuinely cool to have a harem of evil op ladies do his bidding. i know i'd love that.
Jeff performing a piledriver is one of the greatest things I have ever red.
The Jeff the killer reading really made me want to make a superhero themed fanfic of it
In my mind most of these creepypasta characters read more like Batman villains than horror characters lmao
Pastra's voice for Randy sounds very similar to Cuphead/Mugman from the TV show near the start. Now I cannot get the mental image of Cuphead holding a knife and threatening Jeff for money so he could pay back the Devil.
The FNF modding scene actually made me get into writing creepypastas. You can thank Vs Sonic.EXE for that.

And I can see exactly what they mean by that and they have a point
The thing is though, is that the internet allows thrse things, like Creepypasta OCs, and AU versions of characters, to happen much faster and without being nearly as limited by geographical concerns.
This was an absolute treat to see live.
