Thanks for the well wishes, I'm looking forward to it. It should really not be too much trouble as it's not going to be a shiny build and I can always do it as a barn find kind of build.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to digging to this one. I might be able to get it completed while I'm in Portland and can then leave it there. I'll have updates once I get started.
Honestly Larry, this kit will be easier to build without paint anyways. Not the easiest old tooling so no paint to trip up will be a plus. Although the rusty truck idea would be super cool too!! Needs a saddle seat cover for the interior to finish it off!! Looking forward to seeing it.
I'm glad you like the rusty truck idea! I might just have to do that. I figured that without the painting issues, this would be a bit simpler, so I agree there with you and why would you steal my idea for the seat cover?!! Thanks for stopping in.
Thanks Tom! That's the idea and we'll see how it goes. I don't have any supplies in Oregon, so I'll be taking somethings with me and maybe picking up some there.
Nice pick for the GB Larry have fun with the build 👍👍
Have fun with your GB Larry and stay warm. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much, I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.
It is tooling from the 50s; so may be a challenge, but hope it goes well for you! Thanks for jumping in and enjoy the trip!

@@daneself858 Thanks!
This looks like it's gonna be a good kit. That's why I thought about entering this GB, a trip out of town. I hope you have better luck than I did?
Well, I think I might as I'm going to be there for a month, so this will give me something to occupy my down time.
@LarrysModelShop I'm telling you man, make sure you pack as much of you tools as you can!
@pappytinkers Thanks, sage advice I intend to keep in mind. Luckily, I'll have a checked bag, so sharp instruments won't be a problem.
