You defintely learned this in junior high school if you went to school in america. I always rememebered this as the teacher said it was a mystery and still to be believe to be older than Mesopotamia and the fact it had city street layouts and had fully functioning sewage system in the city. That always stuck out to me.

I have asked professionals in the past to give me a reason why humans could not have been civilized like we are today, more than 100,000 years ago, and simply received blank stares and contempt looks. We only became technically advanced the last few hundred years, so give me a reason why this did not already happen. Metal rusts and goes away, wood homes rot or burn down, only large stone construction would remain, like maybe pyramids...to prove my base of my thoughts and ideas, what would happen to the world should we lose electricity (due to long term sun issues maybe) and it would put us back a few centuries at the least, large population deaths, and if it carried on for more than 2 decades, our grandkids would know no other world, and in another 2 decades all those smart engineers would be dead and buried, making our climb back a long journey, with little evidence to show we were here...yes?

Indus Valley Civilization holds much much more than all that we know today. Unfortunately, it has not been thoroughly and deeply researched, at least to the extent and depth it should have due to various political , economic and religious reasons. However, both India and Pakistan should collaborate on this project for the sake of knowledge and history. Perhaps I am inviting criticism in saying so but we should do it for the sake of knowledge and our history.

Pashupati mahadev is located in Kathmandu valley. There is compelling evidence of cultural similarity between Indus civilization and Kathmandu's Bagmati river civilization. The great public baths, dense urban settlement, baked bricks structures, are omnipresent here. Perhaps they took refuge in Kathmandu after the Aryan invasion.

This civilization belongs to aboriginals who lived here from ages and not much known (dravidians ) , who were non-vedic. But unfortunately most historians ( rather politicians ) whose ancestry came from Europe 3000 years ago are trying to prove that they belong to Indus civilization !! how ? It is like 600years old Europeans in America or Australia trying to prove that it is their land and their history, as if nothing or no body existed before.Biggest tragedy in History and systematic destruction of evidences .Many scholars are paid in millions to rewrite history by vested groups.
