      Make sure to watch the video mentioned at the end of the video to learn how to calm your beagle.

    I wish I could have taught my beagle to stay calm on a mat but when they tried at puppy training, he just gathered all the other dogs mats up, hid under a chair and became aggressive. They used a compressed air canister on him to get him to give them up and then he was put in the naughty corner for two weeks, he was about four months old at the time!!! Never been able to get him to lie calmly unless he wants to!!!

      Was this happening in a group dog training class? By the dog trainer?

    • @nolavout9094
      @nolavout9094 3 года назад

      Yes, Saro, she was supposed to be the best behaviourist in our area, I think she caused half my problems, I changed to a kennel club trainer but she could never correct his previous problems

      Like I said, I am actually proud of how I have managed to get him myself, I can take him anywhere and he behaves but he is always restless at home and have never been able to take anything he classes as a find, out of his mouth, but I can take food out that I have given him

    When I first used to take my beagle to the vets I used to tense up because i was frightened he would get aggressive and he usually did, once i calmed down, so did he, they really do pick up on these things

    I worked in a daycare where the front desk people would come in to take pictures at any given moment of the day. It was a nightmare.

    • @SaroDogTraining
      @SaroDogTraining  3 года назад

      You mean clients would just walk in to take pictures of the dogs?

    • @Catia24311
      @Catia24311 3 года назад

      No, the front desk workers had to take pictures of the dogs to send by text to parents. It would stir the dogs up and sometimes resulted in a fight for attention.

    • @SaroDogTraining

      That doesn't seem like a proper dog daycare.
