Cool real life video Jeff. That is my experience also, minus the wife in background telling you that you forgot something. Well done girl. I haven’t had much success with those heat shrink solder thingos. Used a couple the other day which is probably my 3rd or 4th time (with heat gun). No luck. But I’m a bit of a hack with electricity. Sometimes ok sometimes not. And never as neat as you and while I have a multimeter I wonder why I bother. Must get more practice before the trip. Anyway great ideas very helpful and you make it look easy. Ta mate
Good advice from the camera girl , looking at putting a similar setup as a permanent feature of the 30 sec awning Trying to minimise unpacking and packing time
my ARB awning has pretty much the same LED light built in. Orange, white or orange and white. Completely dimmable via its inline switch/dimmer. Plugs into my 12v system with the usual 12v fag socket. Loving your videos Jebbers, just binge watching your back catalogue ATM

I put some in my 270 awning a few years back and hard wired them to a switch in the back door of the cruiser. It’s fantastic!
@@JebbreysJibberish do you recommend 1000mm or 600mm for the awning
They’ve sold out of 1000
For my 270 awning I just used cheap eBay strip lighting and cut to length.
