I've put some hours in with a J-3 when I was a kid. Flew with my brother. We used to joke about the cars below us going faster than we were. Lol. Enjoyed the flight...now get to work on those projects...lol. BTW...the one wheelers are awesome!
Even got a shot of those notorious Ruffles chips in there...no idea how you come up with content everyday, but totally love getting to watch these on my lunch breaks!
@@alexandercoats Those are accurate numbers. I built 2 experimental airplanes new from kits. Everything was brand new including the engines. Even those required maintenance. It took a while to dial them in. Come on.

That’s sick, and when I flew this thing home I was watching all the traffic on the freeway pass me

@@permethrinuser1124 you’re not far away at all. That’s a quick flight
That new paint on the valve covers will add at least 5 mph
I was thinking I’d also get 15 more horsepower
Why can’t airplanes maintain themselves? And fuel themselves? Come on. I just want to fly.
2-3 hours of maintenance for every 1 hour of flying. Good rule of thumb for these things haha

@@pittss2c601 that’s what I tell everyone. And When you buy a plane, expect to spend $5-6k right off the bat on stuff that will break.
