- Hello Everyone and welcome to Bellwright a upcoming medieval Open world survival/rpg. Donkey Crew where kind enough to send me a key to a 72 hour preview event to check out the game so here I am giving it a try :)
Game description
Establish and expand your own settlements, liberate the land and assist its villagers, and recruit others to your cause while learning more about a life you had to leave behind. Command your forces, prove your valor through combat, and cement yourself as the hero of your people.

Now as some disclaimers here and a mini FAQ
- This is a limited time preview for the game it lasts for 3 days with the 30th of this month being the end of the playtest.
- I was sent a key to play this game along with some randomly selected people and some other content creators to check out the game and provide feedback.
- I am aware the developers prior games having played both of kings and men (shout out any Teutonic knights + the kings men out there) and last oasis I would advise doing your own research before making any purchases.
-The game is due for a early access release on steam before being release fully.
-If this video does well I will be sure to record more if not I will dive into my own instance while I can XD

@Matt yes the videos are doing great after a rocky start and I love playing this game so 100% will be on the channel
1:33 actually mushrooms are pretty nutritious. They have lots of vitamins. for example, B vitamins (B2, B3, folate, B5), Phosphorus, Vitamin D, Selenium, Copper, Potassium. Though JUST eating mushrooms is probably a bad idea, too much of any one thing is.
I find it incredibly satisfying to see the village grow lol. Can finally start seeing it take shape by the end of this episode. I am absolutely loving the Survival/CityBuilder/Exploration aspects of the game.

A lot of people seem to have issues with AI (like chat bots) being implemented in games. I can see why. Most dialogue sounds incredibly dull. However, with more advancements in AI, I'm excited to see how far it can go. Like imagine playing an RPG with endless dialogue options based on in game events. for example, you destroyed a random bandit camp and word spread to a nearby village. A representative comes to see you to thank you and gives you a reward and now the people of that village will know you for your specific achievements and more dialogue or quests can open up based on what they have heard about you.
I agree actually I think I even said something along those lines in one of the videos... If the game was using chat bots its not however if they want static quests and dialogue it should really be voice acted having robots in a otherwise immersive game experience takes away from it.
@@ThreatX definitely! This game looks pretty fun, I just hope the dialogue doesn't take too much of the immersion out of it. Can't wait to see your full play through on release! Another series too look forward to!!
Sad to hear the vids aren’t doing as well as you hoped but HYPED for some 3 hour episodes!
They actually started doing way better randomly one day :)
Thanks for playing this, Ive had it on me wishlist for a while....the downside I am seeing is the fake voices, and things like Mary is hungry, 'HE' will stop following soon lol etc....not a biggie I know, just looses the immersion for me. Attention to detail.....my nemisis lol. "Removes from wishlist ;)"
It was actually one of my feedback points I agree with the voice acting really does take away from the game however I will add there are some later game missions that are voice acted as far as I can tell so perhaps they will be replaced overtime
Im often disappointed with the translation into English of video games. Using he not she as an example .

@@ThreatX i don't doubt that, would love to play that my self too since dynasty & bannerlord are getting a bit stale for me. This kind of reminds me of manner lords that is also comming out but this is 3rd person in stead of bird eye view

The job order looks like the rimworld system where the ai reads it left to right and checks the priorities.
Yes though a bit disjointed npc priorities and work job priorties use opposite systems lol with 1 being ether the highest priority or the lowest respectively
incidentally, If you want to discover Archery clubs you should contact the British Longbow society , my husband and I used to belong to a club in Sonning Forest which was very well run.
Alternatively if you’re into recurve or compound Archery Great Britain can help.
I just found you and have been enjoying the series, I haven't played this game but cant you make a pick axe for gathering stone?? I'm not asking because I know. Seems like you should be able to crack thoughs big rocks around the small ones you have been getting?

Sickles may improve gathering hemp flax and river reed but I haven’t made them yet so don’t know
They do but they also sometimes change what is collected for instance on a wheat field by hand you collect well wheat with a sickle you get straw
You can repair tools and weapons yourself at the workbench and advanced workbench it take stone or wood depending on the tool
yes though I put them in storage so the ai does it for me :)
Now recruits more insane warriors to dominate the are or potentially raid a village not a bandit camp I'm forward to seeing that
I love medieval dynasty but disliked the minimal danger from the bandits on the game. Its just to easy. So i really look forward for this game. How long till release?

If you do another banner lord playthrough you should do one where you only use sturgia(a challenge)

You unlocked pickaxe so rocks and ore should be easy if you made one
I que some up for the ai though I found just walking around faster when it came to getting the crude stones

Well manor lords is only weeks away so will probably do a smaller series leading up to it but that has not been decided
Will you continue with bannerlord?
Not for a while unless a major mod comes out or an actual update I am happier not playing it

why not use the axe when fighting lol
It is worse in everyway bear in mind its a stick with a rock attached to it not a actual axe ( stat wise club is superior in speed size and it has a blunt damage type so more effective vs armour)
Fair enough, didn’t know all the stats, on the surface you’d just think an axe would deal more damage
this is the worst video currently. You misiing collecting so much stuff and progress is low
