You captured the whole situation Sandi! So far in two hours, Irene has attended to her business online activities, started be load of dishes, eaten breakfast, done some training with Rufous, and is now on n her studio. The fixed breakfast for Irene, separated eggs for an ice cream batch to be ready right in time for lunch, formed and cooked sausage rolls patties for me and the freezer, got another load to f dishes going, hand washed cutting boards, checked on the freeze drying run, filled and started our backup generator, and getting lunch started including a Rice-a-Roni knockoff. As you say, multi-tasking! Oh, I spent a few minutes looking at our trivet collection with the magnificent red rooster trivet right where we can see it when we cook. Time to stop talking and get back at it!! Take care friend!

(it’s a different day over here, we also spell color “colour”, drive on the other side of the road, an eraser is a “rubber” (I have a funny story about my friend from Scotland asking for an eraser in an American class at 10yr old - I assume you see how that ended), and a fanny isn’t a bum (it’s a girls frontal bum - if catch me)

You want to grow “gardeners delight” tomatoes (should still have the season)
Perfect for bruschetta (pronounced “brew-sket-a” close enough... NOT “bruise-shket-a”)
Also it’d qwa-s’on not cross-ant
And Ed-in-bra not Ed-in-bro
Gle’s’ga not glass-cow
Sorry. I digress.
Thick slices of sour dough toasted on only one side
rubbed with a smashed garlic clove (or a sprinkle of garlic salt)
Fine dice one red onion, 2 tea spoons of good ex virgin olive oil,1 tea spoon tomato paste, 4 gardeners delight tomatoes (quartered)
Toss
Spoon generously onto garlic’d 🧄 bread
Top lavishly with salt, pepper (black and white), a drizzle of balsamic glaze (reduced balsamic vinegar) and the best olive oil you can find
Or skip the salt add parasane cheese and re-toast (under the grill - broiler)
Oh, sun dried tomatoes and motsarella also good
