Hello. The Ecuador/Palora yellow dragon fruit gives flowers during the winter here in San Diego. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching. 👍😊👍 Cheers
Hello. I have not tried fish emulsion so I will not be able to answer your question properly. I have heard good reviews with the use of fish emulsion though. I use 1 tablespoon osmocote 14-14-14 per plant and per month. I also add 2 trowel size scoops of either steer or chicken manure compost to each plant each month. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching. 👍😊👍 Cheers
I purchased Mystic red dragonfruit plant , grew for over 9 months, healthy stems and grew along trellis I made. Then now making flowers but first 3 blooms fell off. Why no fruit? I even hand pollinated the first 2 flowers. Mystic is self pollinated according to online information. Stems are green I did blooming fertilizer month ago before flower buds. Why no fruit,,?
Hello. Mystic is a fertile variety. Should have produced fruit after hand pollinating. If the succeeding flower blooms don't develop into fruits then maybe what you have is not a Mystic variety. I hope the you have success in the upcoming blooms. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching. 👍😊👍 Cheers
I having same issue with American beauty. I even pollinated by hand and the whole flower and base wilted turned yellow and fell off 😞 I’m about to give up on trying
I purchased mine from Lowes, there were 2 fairly mature stems in the pot. Price was very good and I guess that might partially explain that it may not be what it was labeled. Also I now see as of last week, the flower buds on the two stems are colored differently. Thus I believe now maybe one or none are actually Mystic red flesh varieties. Don't give up, just find a good source to get new plants. Yes it's frustrating to wait 12-18 months to find out our efforts and fertilizer were wasted. I will wait to see if the one of the stems produces fruit .
Hello dear sir, greetings🤗. NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE!🙌 I had planted some dragon fruit seedlings recently. They are just ~2 weeks old. But many of them are falling down on soil and lay there. They become very thin at the base of seedling. Can you please tell the possible reasons🙏.
Hello. I kept my seedlings growing in a seed starting system for 5 months before I decided to transplant it outside. The soil in the seed starting system is always moist and after a month of the seeds sprouting I started feeding the seedlings with all purpose liquid fertilizer. I also used bamboo sticks to prop up the seedlings. I hope this will give you ideas on what to do with your seedlings. Thank you for subscribing to the channel and thank you for watching. 👍😊👍 Cheers
