That landscape is crazy. Barren green valley with a single building in the middle. Looks like something out of a videogame.

I worked for Bell in the 70's in a #5 crossbar office. I loved it. You could find the exact contact that was the fault. Thank you D.T. for bring back some very good memories.

I don't know what theyre like for critters etc but they seem like a good place to hang out if you get stuck out there somewhere...presumably they on maps but I would think local law enforcement and recovery teams would know the locations.
Cool analogue circuitry aside theyre a useful asset ...now if only there was water near by

The building itself from the outside looks like it's not too old. I wonder when they shut this place down?

Love it! One day they may wish they still had this equipment. Right now they are telling the people of Israel to get landline phones in case of emergency because they know the cell phones will not work. My sister worked for Pacific Bell in the 1970s as an operator and still has a landline. In the last earthquake, her landline phone was still working and her cell phone was dead.

Can't believe that people would have such disrespect for themselves, I'm speaking of the individuals who broke the doors down and desecrated somebody else's property. But that is a really cool facility. I always wondered what was inside. Thank you so much for your travels. I live in curiously through your channel. Truly, thank you.

you are describing what Americans do when they invade other peoples property based on lies, but you knew that. And now it’s happening back and all the wussies are crying 😢

The inhabitants of Sodom shouldn't be surprised at lawlessness reigning around.
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why liers and murderers feel good while righteous persons are persecuted.
That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom.
Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)

What in the world is "sacred" about a long abandoned telephone company shack? No one owned it, once it was abandoned.

@@Nerval-kg9sm it's been my experience that people, with no respect for others will often destroy or deface or maybe in some cases erase history, for example, I've been in many mineshaft that are over 200 years old in some cases, and it looks like the day they walked away. now if you had the same mineshaft next to a city or within 200 miles city people would loot and burn and spray paint everything. A great example of this would be like the Coast Guard stations the large radio towers in the middle of nowhere. People would rather destroy the generator removing parts just to leave them lay. I'm not talking about the copper thieves. I'm just saying it would be nice if people had respect like the owner of this channel does. I mean seriously why does somebody have to rip the door off and just leave it on the ground? Anyway, I'm sure the heaters are probably going to Dogpile me for even daring to say anything. Just know I will not be returning to read the comments and I ask anybody to please be respectful, so the future explorers can experience history.
