Also,with Kuchisake onna, the most popular retelling states that these are the outcomes
1st time.
If you answer no,she will attack and kill the victim
If you answer yes,she removes the mask.
2nd Time.
If you answer yes,she will give the victim the same smile she has (often referred to as the Glasgow smile)
If you answer no,the same outcome happens as if you answer no originally .
I had a really big interest in her story as a child and still do now so I’m pretty knowledgeable on the whole thing :)

I’ve never looked at your channels views or subscriptions before, usually don’t anyway but again I’m surprised that such a good ASMR content creator has no been paid his due flowers. You and ASMR Chess both should have way higher views, I don’t get RUclips’s algorithm at all lol.

I remember hearing that there is technically a way to get around Kuchisake onna. if you ask her if you yourself are beautiful it'll "confuse" her which will give you time to run away. I can't remember exactly but, you have to be really good at hiding cause she's either extremely fast or really good at seeking.

to your point that it's always a woman with long black hair in a white dress, given that a lot of these stories were made up to tell children not to talk to strangers, I'm guessing that these figures look a lot like their mother. Given that it's in Japan, the predominant hair color is black and an older woman usually keeps her hair long. the white dress is probably for effect though.
