Mac Donnell Sound Yacht Race 2025

Sintara sailing in a short offshore race on a warm sunny day in Adelaide. The start was in the Port River. We tacked out to sea then south along the coast to two marks of the course followed by long leg across Gulf St, Vincent to MacDonnell sound. After rounding a fixed beacon, it was a fast downhill (wind behind) race to the finish. We were neck and neck with two other yachts making it fun and challenging. We finished at around 9.30 an hour or so after sunset giving us a good chance to look out for stars, planets and satellite's.
