Apparently Zaaki copped a whack in the face with the whip from Alligator Bloods jockey and didn't manage to get it back together after that. But yes seemed to want to hang in regardless.
@@SeanDavo41 Yes mate, he was barely a G3 horse when he won the Cox Plate Had been beaten into 3rd by a couple of ordinary 3yo then won a turf race in the US beating nothing. Even after winning those two races back home this year you have to question the quality of those races and whether they were proper G1s The horses he beat haven’t really done much He ran way down the field when they tried him in a proper G1 race in France and the two horses who beat him in Ireland have been soundly spanked every time they ran afterwards He was very well placed and just got lucky A good G2/G3 horse who his trainer placed well in weak races and pinched a couple of G1s by being lucky and well placed Notice how they carefully avoided all the really good 10f horses over here.
Wow what a ride by Tim Clarke.. i hope alligator blood will win Cox plate in style .. i closely watch Australian horse racing from India
Okie
Prob his best as in toughest win at WFA over untested 1800m great tough win.
Anamoe Vs Alligator Blood Looks The Cox Plate
Dont ride off Im Thunderstruck not a good ride at all, but Alligator very gutsy
@@dazzac74 and don’t write Zaaki off either. Zaaki was only 2nd up. The others were 3rd up.
Mounga’s run has to be an eye catcher.. hasnt really done much since last spring.
Don’t forget a couple of 3rd rate European horses will run in the Cox Plate and probably blow both of them away.
Get a load of this bloke again…
You talk some absolute trash.
Something amiss about Zaaki
Jockey was fighting against him all the way up the straight
Hanging in badly
Agree, short field / sandown can be strange. Winner looked prime though

Hard to watch Zaaki take the hit to the head
Zaaki underperformed.
Surely a G3 horse from England or Ireland will travel out there and demolish this lot in the Cox Plate
🤣🤣🤣 come on mate snap out of it, zaaki put the pressure on and alligator blood said let's go and came out best nothing more to it.
@@bellside1005
Zaaki is on he decline
I don’t think any of the others will measure up to the overseas raiders from either of the O’Brien stables.
Who is entered from Europe???
State of rest group 3 🤦♂️
