    If you're getting into wood working, definitely switch to torx/star headed screws. They're 1000000000000x better than philips head screws.

    • @ShannonElizabethDesign
      @ShannonElizabethDesign  4 года назад +1

      Oh really? I have never used them before. Do they not strip as much?

    • @RyKnocks

      Shannon Elizabeth Yes, they don’t strip and drive in a lot easier. It’ll change your life. :)

      I also use torx (star drive (sounds futuristic) or whatever people call them). It will save you all sorts of headaches and time.

    Really enjoyed your vid, even though it may not be at the same complicated level as some other work benches vid out there. Several parts of your video makes it very real and relatable. 1, I have similar dimensions of plywood sheets that I'm not sure how to get back, so I appreciate you showing the home depot guy cutting and especially the fit into your car, especially the "Don't drive like this" part, looks like that's exactly how I'm going to drive it. Other parts of your video, like rolling stool, cover and even your mistake are also relatable and helpful.

    Hi Shannon..
    You made a great work bench and it looks very strong ..you can add a router table attachment and modify your table saw to work together using one fence ..but the surface should be straight as mush as possible
    The dust collector can be added to your table saw by adding an elbow to the table saw box and attached to your vacuum much or dust collection system..
    I hope my language is clear ..
    Good work

    Very nice! Came out great, I love the color. I'm thinking about doing something similar. Need a new table saw but don't want to take up all the space in my shop 🤔

    I have used your tutorial to construct this and I am quite pleased. One thing. I want to use a fence and wondered if you have suggestions as to how to make one that woks.
