I just bought my Ryobi Table Saw at Direct Tools for $80!! I’m so excited to use it but gotta build a work bench first! I love that you painted it, I think I’m gonna do the same!
I think this is the first workbench video I've come across where the person bothered to actually finish it. Looks great! I think building the table saw into it makes a lot of sense, seeing how many people have an outfeed table to stick on the end of their table saws anyway. Nice work!
Really enjoyed your vid, even though it may not be at the same complicated level as some other work benches vid out there. Several parts of your video makes it very real and relatable. 1, I have similar dimensions of plywood sheets that I'm not sure how to get back, so I appreciate you showing the home depot guy cutting and especially the fit into your car, especially the "Don't drive like this" part, looks like that's exactly how I'm going to drive it. Other parts of your video, like rolling stool, cover and even your mistake are also relatable and helpful.
Ok so I took the plunge and built this. I bought a Diewalt table saw and adapted the plans to fit my saw. I’m completely nuts but have been watching videos on cabinet making and am going to use the table saw workbench to build my first cabinet box. Wish me luck!
@@ShannonElizabethDesign yeah you did mention that in the video! Lol Any updates with the tool wall? And i didnt catch the name of the doggo! Very cute
This video inspired me to finally build something like this. I actually made it into two benches so I separate them and use the other bench when I need the length. Awesome vid. Thanks for the inspiration!
I just started woodworking to burn up all this extra quarantine time, and man do I love it. Really love your build and the video was high quality. I'm building out my shop now and my bench was completed about 2 weeks to early, I should have gone with your design choice.
Really good tips concerning assembly. I usually end up doing most things twice... Maybe after your video I’ll only have to assemble things once? Thanks for a great video!
Great job. I was looking at the same design, except modify it into a scrap wood storage. I love the idea for the shop vac port. So thank you for the video. It'll help me plan out the steps I need to take.
I have the same Table saw. Been looking for a good workbench. Think I finally found the one. Thanks for sharing! I went and followed you on IG too. I am also from San Diego.
Hi Shannon.. You made a great work bench and it looks very strong ..you can add a router table attachment and modify your table saw to work together using one fence ..but the surface should be straight as mush as possible The dust collector can be added to your table saw by adding an elbow to the table saw box and attached to your vacuum much or dust collection system.. I hope my language is clear .. Good work
Thanks for flashing your cut list. the original post doesn't have the purchase or cut list anymore. :) I'm going to modify this a bit by putting the horizontals on the outside so that I can put vice on the side. I might make it a bit wider too. Otherwise, seems simple and functional. thanks!

If you're getting into wood working, definitely switch to torx/star headed screws. They're 1000000000000x better than philips head screws.
Oh really? I have never used them before. Do they not strip as much?
Shannon Elizabeth Yes, they don’t strip and drive in a lot easier. It’ll change your life. :)
