I remember when Age of Love came out and was in a Middlesbrough venue called The Arena. Old school asked the DJ what was the track and went straight to the local record shop next day for a copy. Still in the loft in a protective sleeve! Who knew that was the start of a wonderful trance journey!
I remember that was one of the only ways to work out what the track was - ask the DJ 😆 great memories. You should get it out of the loft and give it a spin again 👍🎧😊

True, there are so many classics with everyone having their own favourite. For the perfect set though you have to choose a song to end the night then, which one??
Hmmmm… depending on the set, I’d probably go for Energy52 - Cafe Del Mar, or OT Quartet - Hold that sucker down. BBE’s flash worked pretty well for the end of this mix 👍🎧😊🔥
Or Veracocha - Carte Blanche would lift the roof off, as would Starparty - I’m in love (Ferry Corsten’s mix) - both would be great set enders! 🎧👍

Dance music, especially the Progressive Trance era from 1996 through to 2003 brings back so many memories, the summertime and those holidays in spain etc, it really gets you in the heart, i've said this many times but Trance is music you can have a proper cry too. Its just so passionate and its a shame for the up and coming generation of 16+ teenagers
whom many of have never heard of dance music. Please keep on posting these classic Trance anthems and I'll keep on reaching for the box of tissues 🤩😭

@@DJUplifter are those decks OK to mix on,I used to have 1210s back in the day but want to get back into it,on a budget
Yes they’re fine to mix on. I used to mix on 1210s too and you do miss the torque somewhat. But get some good slipmats (kept my old technics ones) and you are away! 👍😊🎧
