- A major search is continuing for 6 people, including the British tech tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter, who are still missing after a luxury yacht sank off Sicily during a freak tornado. A tearful Joe Biden received a huge standing ovation at the Democratic Convention in Chicago as he delivered a highly emotional farewell speech.

22 people mostly staff who survived all but the chef. Two couples died, him and his daughter of 18 years. His Lawyer, but his wife survived. How terrible losing her husband and daughter who'd just been accepted for Oxford university.
So it would appear his family and his friends (Inc the business partner he was acquitted with) died but majority of staff survived. 22 people on board.

In terms of probability, these two occurrences happening to two individuals within two days of each other who are directly related... I think that the fact that he was specifically celebrating his recent acquittal after a decade of legal procedures is ironic and attracts attention.
..So his VP gets run over by a car and killed only a couple of days earlier, now Mike Lynch is missing and also on board was a chairman of Morgan Stanley Investment Bank that is also missing... There were two boats close together, so one - a state of the art 56 meter yacht gets completely destroyed by the 'water spout' and the other boat near by , is completely unharmed. It could have been a set of completely freakish events, but logic contests...

It's a seriously difficult and frightening time now, it hasn't been this hard to simply live and pay the bills since the 70's, and there are many very contentious societal issues affecting everyone too. Generosity of spirit disappears when people are so very ground down.

Tbf this man has spent 10 years Fighting the Courts in US on a fraud charge only 3% of ppl beat these charges.. His VP was killed in a car crash a few days ago!! So: a criminally acquitted businessman celebrating his victory, who dies on Aug. 19th in an unsinkable yacht (Giovanni Constantino, CEO Italian Sea Group, builders) due to a freak weather condition when a nearby yacht was undamaged in the storm, and an acquitted co-defendant of the first, who dies on August 19th, after being hit by a car on August 17th. Some call it karma, some call it conspiration theory, some call it coincidences. But when too many things coincide, I call it God.
