What made me laugh the most was the very coy "hello" to the new subscriber, Almost like meeting an uncle for the first time, that you had heard rumours about.
I've HATED IMSA races lately. No matter how big the track, some LMP2 car decides he's going to make a stupid last second overtake instead of waiting for a logical spot and takes me out. Even on the radio communicating, it's mayhem.
Exactly the same experience, LMP2 drivers dive bomb everywhere, flash lights as they approach and piss and moan when there’s a collision. I spend 45 mins shouting down the mic “Really mate, there’s a fecking straight after this corner, and you choose a last second dive bomb” 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Not sure if the same this season but last season there was an LMP2 only series on exactly the same tracks, just drive that one if you don’t want multi class and just basically want to hot lap with no-one in the way 🤷🏻♂️

This track in Multi class is INSANE. The fact that this is a real race is insane, and that it's in iRacing is even more insane
The prototypes dont come to the IMSA race anymore. Its just GT and GTD these days.
@@briandavis55they races the LMP cars alone with the other GT cars in the VP racing challenge this year, I was there, wasn’t much chaos on track tbh
@@kamara- I was there as well. I recall that race (after the GTD race) and you're correct. People think its going to be a full on traffic jam but honestly it wouldnt be that bad. Exciting maybe. Plus for a track where passing is an issue it would open up many opportunities.

bit like the race I was in yesterday and at the same time as you, but a bit more deadly than the race I was in, only difference is I won the 2nd split by 16 seconds and lapped p3 downwards in LMP2 by 2+ laps

You were in turn 1 when that guy in the Merc was taken out first. He started moving 25 seconds after that, and you caught him in the last corner. I'm surprised no caution or yellow flag was shown during that whole time wtf.

This race is unchanged other than now having GTPs. It is, raw chaos, and a blast if you can avoid all the swift death and manage the constant traffic after the first eight laps or so.

That tracks hard enough with the Mazda mx5 races with 20. It’s total nutts to have multi class. The stress as a viewer was palpable
3 races here doing this very race has killed my safety rating to death.
Watched the original yesterday, so 2nd time around just for the laughs. I did note the SoF was 3.0k, so imagine if you were in a low rated lobby!
ive actually had two of my best races here in IMSA. I won both and lead every lap. it was great.
