The amount of praise Jisung got here for having a deep voice makes me feel like a proud mom. I love how their music director doesn’t forget to praise the members for how well they’re doing. This music director needs an award honestly.
Renjun and Chenle has this producer feeling in them, they wouldn't stop recording until it's perfect, they even personally asked the writers/producers instead of being told. I think they got it (the personal experience) from composing their graduation song. I'm proud ㅜ _____ㅜ

jaemin really comes from asking mark's suggestions about his rapping because he's not feeling confident despite doing extremely well to confidently giving suggestions to jisung and even get praised on his rapping every mere seconds... proud
This vid is so precious like it shows a lot of things about the dreamies, esp their talent and hard work. Like how Renjun, Haechan, and Jeno are never satisfied until they get the perfect one and try and try. How chenle is so meticulous about every little thing and even want to improve more even though he's already so good, and make sure everything will be perfect when he performs it. Jisung is already so talented but is still shy about it and there's still a lot more he can do if he gains more confidence (and Jaemin is actually so sweet about his comments and advice to Jisung) . Jaemin as a fast learner and naturally talented and still keep on improving more and more and utilizes whatever talent he has efficiently. And what actually get my attention the most is Jeno, I dunno, I feel like after following them for so many years, I can really see that he really improved a lot. Not that he wasn't good before but you can really see the big differencd, his rapping skills, his knowledge about music, even his opinions are so mesmerizing and everything. You can tell that he really work hard a lot, I mean all of them. I still have a lot of thoughts but I can't put them into words, they're just too precious for me.
After watching this for countless times and listening carefully to their guide track I can finally conclude their order of recording session: 1. Renjun is the first one who did his session (his guide track is the demo version) 2. Chenle (we can hear Renjun and the "break break out" part but it isn't Jeno, Jaemin, or Jisung's voice) 3. Jisung (we can hear Chenle's rap but when Jisung did adlib to Jeno's rap, the guide track doesn't sound like Jeno and more like a gibberish) 4. Jeno and Jaemin did their recording together (like always duh) (also we can hear Chenle's rap, NoMin backed up Jisung's shout, and no Haechan after Jaemin's first verse) 5. Haechan did it last (his guide track is draft version of the original track like we can hear the rest of the gang and probably because Mr. Lee Donghyuck is a busy man)

Jaemin got a really REALLY cool head.... It's like he doesn't even have to try, the vibe of the music just comes naturally to him, and he absorbs it, like a sponge. He doesn't seem to be doing a "work" he's just literally coming and vibing, experimenting and having fun.
the way haechan asked if he could use his head voice...haechan really has an ear for music and the fact that he puts in suggestions too to see how certain parts would sound really makes everything easier for the producers because he’s working along with them rather than just following instructions. now this is the music prodigy doyoung was talking about!

Actually, Korean's r/l letter, ㄹ, can be an L, and R, or something in between (called a 'tapped r") depending on where it is in the word. At the end of a consonant, it becomes an L sound like at the end of 'roll', so jaemin probably isn't having trouble pronouncing that. It's more likely that he's tripping over how to pronounce the american "r," which is pretty difficult even for non-american english speakers. (also, jaemin's stylization of the words makes the L sound in 'roll' sound more placed back like a 'dark L', which is pretty hard for korean speakers, so it might be that)

My backgrounds English and high school french in Canada so it’s been interesting learning. Like 에 I think of as more a é sound due to my French learning. To be fair hard L’s are hard when they don’t exist in your native language. But his expression was cute when trying.
Actually, Korean's r/l letter, ㄹ, can be an L, and R, or something in between (called a 'tapped r") depending on where it is in the word. At the end of a consonant, it becomes an L sound like at the end of 'roll', so jaemin probably isn't having trouble pronouncing that. It's more likely that he's tripping over how to pronounce the american "r," which is pretty difficult even for non-american english speakers. (also, jaemin's stylization of the words makes the L sound in 'roll' sound more placed back like a 'dark L', which is pretty hard for korean speakers, so it might be that)
@lynn choi Thank you so much! I’m just getting into linguistics and I had thought ㄹ was more of a diphthong between r/l just like “I” is said ie in English. My backgrounds English and high school french in Canada so it’s been interesting learning. Like 에 I think of as more a é sound due to my French learning. It maybe a wrong/bad way of thinking but it seems to be what jells in my head. Again thank you I love learning new things.
