I like to imagine the memory rewrite the Franchise gave Alex also imparted skills onto him. When they edited his memories of his fight against Curien, they didn't edit the part where he was doing an Aikido stance- and instead gave Alex memories of how he broke the stance. In doing so, they taught him how to break Aikido stances, hence why he's able to hit Silvestre now.
Notice too how Alex only knows the approaching stance from the memory as opposed to the other more cautious stances he had over the game before third fold.
"I lied." Holy shit, that hits hard. I did like mod maker's own take on the fights from the Alex beats Hugo mod, though I miss hintlord and bringing back the joymutant + car combo is evil, lol.
It's not totally specified but I do know that Jason was suppose to meet a man to get the pink pill in the school basement which was stolen from the marauders from the desert village, but they run into Arnold and a joymutant, Arnold kills the mutant/ the man and takes the pill for no specific reason. The pill was for the neon flamingos in a deal and Jason didn't have it, the only reason that Jason gets the pill in the non-3rd fold route is because he swipes it from Alex by complete coincidence that Alex had it, he had no plan and was probably just hoping that the neon flamingos would take the entire camp or was set on ditching everyone from the start, basically just winging it. In the 3rd fold ending Jason doesn't patch up Alex he never knew Alex had the pill.

@@sonicletrol4501 The Ultimate Modpack actually rectifies/addresses that discrepancy. You do the 1st or 2nd Fold endings in the modpack, then unlike here in IU where Jason still has the pink pill to give to the Neon Flamingos, he admits to not having it when meeting with them in the ending. From there, Alex realizes what the Flamingos want, offers it to them, and in a _delightful_ turning of the tables, _YOU_ get to decide whether to leave Jason at the bus stop or not! I ESPECIALLY love ditching him in the 1st Fold ending, where Hugo simply opts to cut his losses when Alex and Joel put up a fight against him and it's made _exceedingly clear_ he's still lurking around the area nearby. After more than half a decade of being left with Vanilla Pointless's cliffhanger of an ending and seeing Hugo and Jason get off-scott from for all this time, it was _cathartic_ dishing out some respective payback to both of them.
@@sonicletrol4501 Yeah, Pike is supposed to be a complete dick. There's a fairly good fan comic, that depicts what Pike did (that turned Hugo into a psycho) was mold Hugo post-flash from being a gentle giant with no backbone into being the murderous enforcer of the two, killing any threat that gets into their way.

I think it would be nice to change the ending a bit. Namely, in the battle against El Elephante, Alex receives catastrophic damage due to his illusion, and after the battle he extremely slowly and brokenly goes to the transition, with his last strength rushing into battle against Turkey, where, regardless of the player’s actions, Alex is defeated against Joy Mutant because of that. that lost all his strength in battle with El.
